“Love Bimart! I usually come in at least every other week & pick up items that I refuse to buy at the grocery store, Bimart prices are more affordable. I've been a member & have been shopping Bimart for years. Employees are helpful & very friendly...they are the heart of the business!”

“Support your local pharmacy before going to Safeway. They likely have what you need. If not they can order. They unfortunately didn't have a generic saline nasal rinse I believe they had last year so I had to purchase that across the street. They had others but not the standard non habit forming nasal rinse I like to have”

“I’m hesitant to post how amazing they are because it’s like that secret fishing spot you don’t want people to know about. But, they deserve it for the 5 star service they provide. Thank you!”

“Uncle Freddy has everything. Excellent one stop shopping for years & years. Have never been disappointed. Friendly people work at Freddy's and it's a good experience when I walk in the front door”

“The Bend Fred Meyer did really well during the time I was living in Bend, Oregon during the Pandemic. It's better if you are shopping with an idea of what items you want to buy. I recommend taking a list or a rough sketch of the item(s) on the list. Also, there are plenty of options for shopping at this Bend Fred Meyer. I noticed that during Pandemic most of the employees that were working (that weren't at the end of their shifts) wore a buff or a face mask or were given those disposable masks at the Checkout (the register)... by managers on duty (MODs). There were a few other shoppers who didn't bring their spectacles (prescription glasses) who didn't also bring a magnifying glass (I have a pocket one for my darling Husband when he needs to read the fine print on some of the packages). Those few other shoppers usually went to the reading glasses section and "borrowed" those readers. I could see the tags still on those readers while the senior citizens were reading the bottles and packages. I don't recommend buying readers unless one has gotten a prescription for a pair before. I recommend paying the co-pay for prescription glasses for reading. Also, if one doesn't have insurance there are options. Most of the other shoppers that were my age were looking for deli sandwiches or other picnic type items because on those afternoons I spent in Bend, Oregon there was sunshine on at least four days and evenings. Most of my trips to this Bend Fred Meyer... I stop and look at the Fred Meyer Jewelry counters... to look for charms or other items for my Pandora style bracelet. I've located a few that I liked over the years. Nobody at this Bend Fred Meyer is as friendly as the associates at the local Fred Meyer stores in Portland, Oregon (who worked between 2008 and 2012) though. I've noticed that some of the people who have worked retail are tired of the drama and bullcrap from specific customers. It's the same few customers who are the most vocal. Those customers are sourp*sses, in general.”

“Are you kidding me? Who doesn't love Costco?! We have a love hate relationship. I love going there and hate looking at my visa statement at the end of the month! Haha! Their return policy is better than no other, the quality of items they carry is guaranteed. Pricing is generally the best for what you buy. You can always get help by asking an employee at the front for assistance. I kinda like the self checkout lane if only have a few items, otherwise it's worth the wait for a checker. I will go to Costco forever until the end of the”

“It seems a little odd to write a review for a pharmacy but I have never had such a positive experience before like I have had with the Community Pharmacy at St. Charles. Every interaction I have had with the staff there has been pleasant. They are helpful and friendly every time. Even in the middle of this COVID pandemic they have been great. I am so glad we switched to this pharmacy!”

“I had an urgent care appointment finish at 6:30 pm - headed over to Bend Walmart Pharmacy to see if there was any chance they'd have my prescription ready before they closed at 7:00 pm. All of the pharmacists, from the person greeting me, to the person filling the prescriptions, to the person checking me out we're SO friendly, accommodating and FAST. They had the prescriptions filled in 10 minutes and they had a smile on their faces the entire time. They were laughing and sharing a joyful smile with every interaction. Really appreciate everyone that works at the Bend Walmart Pharmacy!”

“I’m a healthcare professional in the area and desperately wanted a flu vaccine for the coming season. All other pharmacies in Bend require appointments and weren’t willing to budge, so I called Genoa (a pharmacy I had never even heard of before), and within 2 minutes was brought back for my vaccine. Amazing staff of women working hard to ensure their patients are cared for, all with a smile on their faces. Amazing experience, I can’t wait to return.”

“I think Bob is an old time pharmacist who is very precise and knows a lot about the drugs he dispenses. He also gives information and asks questions , to make sure you know any side effects or contraindations. I like the personalized service you get at Rose Pharmacy.”

“Scheduled a Shingrix vaccine a couple of months ago to get caught up with new recommendations based on my age (thanks being over 50 now!) My physician recommended the Safeway pharmacy as her office did not stock the vaccine regularly. It was easy to schedule online and the pharmacist who gave me the vaccine was very professional and accomplished and used standard technique. I was impressed with how easy and streamlined the process was. I'll be getting the second in my series in a few months and was already able to schedule the appointment.”

“My life story includes many infusions in many different offices. OHSU, Vancouver, WA, BMC and now here. Starting new treatments, as old ones fail, is stressful enough in it's own, without the anxiety that comes with having your therapy done in a new place. This was above and beyond the best experience I have had since my infusion journey started in 2010. From the time I walked in the door and was greeted by a warm, friendly face, until I left feeling like I made a new friend in my nurse. I have a slight case of germaphobia and when I explained this openly to my nurse, Kim, she was so caring and not once did she make me feel like I was a burden with my fears. Care providers in my past acted like that made me high maintenance. I could tell by the bustle in the office that it was busy but she still took her time with me and was genuine in her kindness. Thank you Kim and thank you Ray for making this a positive experience. I was scared and you cared.”

“Although it was a bit frustrating that they don't answer their phones, it's understandable because of how shortstaffed they are. That being said, I am tremendously grateful for the work they're doing in the Pharmacy as well as the floor staff.. they always greet you when you walk in and Bob is my particular favorite. They have a reasonable selection of wine, And regular discounted items. Good energy a good environment. I would recommend this particular Rite Aid over other Rite Aid in Central Oregon.”

“Over all good service here. I did have one odd experience where my RX needed a prior Auth and when I called to check in on it the pharmacist said I would be better off taking my rx elsewhere because they probably wouldn't be able to fill it??? But the next day got a notification that everything had gone through and the rx was ready so that was odd. But otherwise they send text reminders which is nice and the wait is never more than a few people deep. So compared to costco pharmacy (who won't even answer your call unless you call corporate) and Walgreens where you need several hours to wait it's pretty great.”

“I love this pharmacy! I've been a customer here for over 20 years. They are always very nice, fill prescriptions accurately and fast. One of the last drive up pharmacies in Bend. Drive up service is a great feature that helps me with my busy schedule.”

“Competent, friendly service to get my medication. I had to transfer prescriptions from my out-of-state Safeway location and the pharm tech, Justice, here at the Century Safeway, along with the other staff, were quick to make this happen for me. Great service!”

“This is specifically about the pharmacy at Walgreens, but I'm sure it also applies to the regular staff.Like most people commenting here, I've had to deal with inconveniences at Walgreens. Long wait times, delayed prescriptions, closed for seemingly random reasons. This is a huge problem and very frustrating for everybody. But it is happening across the country. In Kansas City, CVS pharmacists walked out to protest unsafe and stressful work conditions due to lack of proper staffing. Some 75,000 Kaiser Permanente healthcare workers went on strike over burnout and problems with retention and recruiting. This week Walgreen employees in some states are planning walkouts over prescription and vaccination expectations demanded by corporate management that result in delays and angry customers. On a recent visit to this Walgreen's location, I overheard a man yelling at one of the Heathers because his prescriptions weren't ready. When she tried to explain why he lost his temper. He was so loud and rude that folks in line and the waiting room became visibly uncomfortable. This was NOT her fault. Please try to be patient and nice to the local people serving you. If you want to complain, aim your anger at the Walgreens corporation and let the people in charge know you want this fixed now.”

“I have shopped at Walgreens for years. It was nice when they came to Bend , and not just one but two stores. One on Franklin, and the one on East Highway 20. They carry products that other stores don't. Check the store out I think you will be happy”

“Everytime I come to fill a prescription at this location, I hear someone in line upset with the service here. I can understand that people can feel frustrated with the wait or if their medication is on back order but I must say, the staff are working their butts off and if they could work faster, they would. They have always been kind and you can see that they are doing their best and always keep their cool when customers lash out at them and treat all customers with respect even if it's not reciprocated often.I wish more people could see past the inconveniences that covid had thrust upon all industries and acknowledge that the pharmacy staff are doing a great job. Our world changed so much since 2020 and that's not their doing. The had to pivot and make adjustments just like everyone else.Other pharmacies have closed in town causing them to take on the extra load and more people are utilizing medications than ever before.I'm grateful they still remain open and I hope they know that they are important and valued.”

“Looking over these horror stories people had, you'd think this Walgreens was completely falling apart at the seems.Well...that's not entirely true. From the outside this location looks like a nice, big, and clean Walgreens. Inside, however, not so much. The reason I came in today was to retrieve a package from FedEx that couldn't get delivered to my home b/c I had a dyslexic moment and entered the numbers of my house in the wrong order (hey, it's a new home we moved into.)The inside of this Walgreens looked pretty well stocked, but on this day the pharmacy was temporarily closed and the photo department was also temporarily closed due to their machines malfunctioning. So yeah, things didn't look too good. But again, I was here to retrieve a package, and I was greeted with a smile from the young cashier working up front. She tried to find it in the back, no luck. She then looked at some of the small envelopes behind her near the photo department, and still no luck. But she happily paged her manager to assist me.The manager promptly arrived, called me over to assist me with my inquiry, and after I explained to him my package size and name he said, "not to worry, if it's here I'll find it." He went to the back, and was gone for all of 1 minute before coming back to the front with an FedEx envelope. He verified my ID, we exchanged some light pleasantries, and I was on my way. Hassle free.So while I didn't come here to shop necessarily—nor was I here to visit the pharmacy or photo booth—I can say I was met with prompt service and nice employees.”
