“I got married at The Troutdale House yesterday and I cannot recommend this venue enough. It's beautiful, there's so many beautiful pieces of furniture, the owners are fantastic and the staff are amazing. Gabby and Kaylee (sp?) were so great about making sure everything went the way we wanted it to. All the guests loved the pool table, fooseball table and air hockey table and all yhe slot machines. I definitely recommend this venue!”

“Went today to Carver Event Center to tour the venue for our vow renewal in 2027. All I can say is Wow! The venue is gorgeous and Jenn puts alot of love and work into it. Would highly recommend to other couples looking for a wedding or renewal venue close to nature. Prices are reasonable and staff goes above and beyond.”

“A great quaint country club that possibly has some of the most challenging greens in all of the Portland Metro area. Yes, I'm a bit bias. It definitely has the best restaurant view in all of Gresham and Troutdale. As a licensed Real-estate Broker in Oregon and a professional to this area, this is one of my secret spots that I'll definitely refer all of my clients to consider joining the community of golfers.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Lakeside Gardens from start to finish. Everything was seamless, and the entire team was quick to respond to any questions we had and made the planning process feel easy and stress-free.

Our day-of coordinator, Noel, was incredible. She kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so we could actually relax and enjoy the day. We never felt overwhelmed, which says a lot when planning a wedding!

What really stood out was how simple they made the planning process. We only needed about one 1–1.5 hour consultation to cover the bulk of the details, and after that, everything just fell into place. Their organization and experience really showed.

If you’re looking for a venue that takes the stress out of wedding planning while still delivering a beautiful, well-run event, we couldn’t recommend them more highly.”

“Our family enjoyed our reunion some years back and planning a return in 2027. A lot of things to do outdoors and a large gathering area for get togethers, puzzles, board games and cards. Meals were good, not great, but good enough. I'm spoiled when it comes to great food, so others might find it great there. Troutdale is not far away with plenty of places to go and fuel up, especially if you have a big rig and need more room to get to the fuel pumps. A few truck stops and many restaurants to choose from. Going the opposite direction you can find The Bridge Of The Gods. You can take a cruise on the Columbia River, visit the Dam, or eat at a restaurant on the rivers edge. The famous Falls is close by as well. The facility isn't set up for campers or RV's but close by they have a few to bring your rig and still enjoy family visiting during non sleeping hours.”

“Super cute venue and Maria Duong is a fantastic day-of wedding coordinator!

We had our daughter’s wedding here. The surrounding forest is beautiful and the photos look magical (and we don’t even have the professional photos yet)! There is an outdoor bar where we had champagne before the ceremony, and full kitchen and bar inside an air conditioned, rustic lodge covered in little globes of light.

Maria helped us decide how to decorate and let us measure everything two months before the wedding.

We ended up hiring her to be the day of wedding coordinator, and I HIGHLY recommend you do the same! She worked the whole night running around to make everything perfect, so neither the bride nor I had to worry. We had unexpected rain the morning of the event, but she had a back up plan in place. We didn’t need it, and she made sure all chairs were dry before we even got there. She helped decorate, and took things and packed them away for us as things were finished. She walked through the ceremony with us the day before, including teaching the bride and groom how to do an exit dip on their way out. She made sure all the transitions were smooth, that the bride and her dress looked perfect before walking down the aisle. She bustled the dress afterward. Our caterers, bartenders, and photographer already happened to be familiar with her and with the venue, so I didn’t need to direct anyone at all. Super impressed, and I honestly do not know how it would have gone without her! AND, at the end of the night, she texted us photos she had taken herself during the event and they were spectacular! Above and beyond!

The sound system is great, they have cute wine barrels and little wooden tables you can use, there’s ample parking, a dressing room, and an outdoor playground for the kids, etc. Aside from a problem with the arch we had to solve, everything was perfect!”

“Great place. Well run and maintained. We went there for a Judo Tournament. There was plenty of room for 2 full mat setups. There was only one set of bleechers, 2 would have been better as they got pretty crowded.”

“An old facility but a goodie. It is well maintained, beautiful inside and out.I attended a small school graduation there and the space was more than adequate.Things I noticed:A lovely stage, never found an A/C control (so verify if you plan a summer event), handicap access is available,&Women’s restroom: I found the restroom stall size inadequate to maneuver comfortably and I am only a size 18 so certainly do not think it would afford room to move for elderly with cane/walker or handicap unless you leave the stall door open. This might be acceptable accommodation for you because there is an outer room that can be used for this (and nursing mothers) and the door between the main hall and that outer room can be closed.”

“The courts are decent. I go for the Thursday night disc golf putting league which is awesome.Weather you are a first timer or long timer it's a great time and a great way to keep your putt game sharp through the winter.”

“The rooms were nice. They were outdated, but very clean. I appreciated that room service came every day. However, there was a terrible smell in the lobby the entire week I was there. It made coming into and leaving the hotel an unpleasant experience.”
