Animal House
646 SW 4th St, CorvallisWith the most helpful people. I always go there first looking for anything pet related. I like the environment, converted older house - just a cool place for a pet store but more important is the way you're treated there. Dale and Robin and the Animal House rocks. The negative reviews are utter BS, they obviously LOVE animals and take good care of them - who wouldn't if it was your life work.
I'm happy they've been there for so long, and hope they never quit, and just returned from there - again

940 NW Circle Blvd, CorvallisWe like their grooming services for our small dogs. (We deviated one time and went to Petco and the groomer made three of my dog's paws bleed.) That never happens at Petsmart. My little dogs are both very calm when their nails are being trimmed, so there was no excuse. Take your babies to PetSmart.

I could ramble on for a long time as I am so happy with our experience.
My social cat was delighted and my less social cat did really well.

2621 Northwest 9th Street, CorvallisThey were so incredibly kind, my rabbit was acting weird and they were the only ones with an opening on short notice, they were super flexible and let us move the appointment from 3pm, to an earlier 1:30pm appointment on short notice. They were very gentle with my bunny, handled him with such good care. The vetranariny was also very helpful, informative, and listened very intentfully. The receptionists are also super really nice, overall amazing vet visit and calmed all of my worrys.
2 days later they also called to check in on how my rabbits doing! Excellent costumer service and you can tell they like doing their job!

Alpine Animal Hospital PC: Clark Dale C DVM
5120 NW Highland Dr, CorvallisI had a great experience with Alpine Animal Hospital this morning. I have an old injured dog, dislocated hip. Dr. Hixon was first of all professional, knowledgeable and above all kind. He was also straightforward and honest. In the best way possible he told me Hazel was "worn out". The kindest thing I can do is to euthanize her when I can no longer manage her pain adequately, unfortunately that will be sooner rather than later. I have just moved here from Colorado and think I am a pretty good judge of vets. I don't think you will find a better small animal vet. And by the way, their fee was very reasonable.

430 Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis6 weeks ago my dog got sick suddenly. She is 10 years old going on 11 and I knew something wasn't right. I brought her to west hills where she had been before once or twice. They got her in through admitting same day and we started a long 6 week journey of trying to find out what was going on and eventually treating her symptoms to make her comfortable. The quality of care we received was more than I anticipated. I grew up having dogs that my parents rarely took to the vet (luckily they didn't have a whole lot of issues) so the process of veterinary care was relatively new. I was bringing my girl Shanook in 1-2 times a week and multiple calls and texts a week connecting with Dr.Fogarty and Dr.Cole. Last night, after 6 weeks of ups and downs, I knew my girl was tired and done. I called Dr.Cole and we made the choice to let her go. I brought her in and the whole process was so peaceful.. heartbreaking but I know she went peacefully and she wasn't in any pain. I'm so happy that her last trip was with Dr.Cole and it was someone who loved her and knew what a special girl she was. I'm glad she was assisted to heaven by people that knew her and loved her. For all things, I highly recommend this hospital for your pets. Everyone is so kind and they do truly come to care, know and love your pet like it's theirs. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you did for my best girl.

6880 Southwest West Hills Road, CorvallisWe started out at Wonder Dogs in puppy class in spring 2025 with our then 4 month old border collie mix, Max. He was very reactive to new settings, other dogs, and sometimes strange people, got overstimulated quickly, and lunged at passing cars and bikes. We have taken other great classes to learn the basics, do tricks, practice agility, and socialize. Max is now 20 months old and has much more confidence out in the world. He has positive interactions with other dogs and is much more relaxed with people and bikers he encounters on our local trails. We have the tools we need to manage everyday situations and appreciate the compassion the Wonder Dogs trainers show.

We had not boarded him prior and were stressed about what could happen. Thankfully, Collette and her staff really went out of their way to relieve any concerns we had. When we picked him up, it was very clear that the staff on site truly loved dogs and took good care of him as if he was one of their own.
Will definitely return in the future!

The menu has a nice selection and had most dietary options. Our hamburgers were delicious and the jalapenos actually had some heat. It was an enjoyable experience and I would come back next time I am in Corvallis.

The staff were so patient and helped them with different suggestions. Great location in downtown. Not much seating inside, but there were some tables outside if you wanted to sit and enjoy your drink. Cold brew was smooth and no bitterness. Everyone else liked their order too.
