Someone attempted to hack our account last week and she jumped right on to lock things down and set us up with a new account. She then walked us thru all of the steps needed to facilitate our on line banking needs. If I could give more than 5 stars for her I would!!”

“I'm going to blame the issue I had on my age. I'm elderly and anything technical will sometimes throw me off my game. I've been with this credit union since 1990, when it was known as Telco. I never used their regular app. I use their website to do all my banking, pay bills, etc. I also had their "card guard" ... which was an app which, they recently notified me, was going away and being absorbed by their regular app. I downloaded the app. When I went to delete the card guard app, it informed me all data associated with it would be deleted. I thought this was great and deleted it. Then, my Visa card was declined. Spoke first with Phil, who informed me I should have locked or deleted my credit card off the old app before I deleted it! I think Unitus could have shared that little bit of wisdom with their customers because it was then impossible to do anything about it. We could not download the old app again. It was gone forever. Phil transferred me to "customer service" where I became extremely frustrated with the person because she did not comprehend what my problem was. I gave up, hung up and called back the original number. Reached Marla. We played around with locking and then unlocking my credit card but when my card was declined again, she advised the only thing to do was to reissue my cards. The fastest way to do this was to visit my branch ASAP. Next morning, went into the Happy Valley branch of Unitus and met a lovely gal by the name of Evinne. I hope I spelled that correctly. She issued my new cards and because I did not know how to use an ATM, she walked outside with me and showed me how. That was so very kind of her! I have never had any problems with this branch. Everyone has always been helpful and kind every time I've gone in there. I will continue to do business with them as long as I am able. Thank you Unitus!”

“We went to the other branch north of this one near harbor freight and got horrible service and I said to myself no... Chase is better than this... Let's try another branch, we drove to this one and the people were just all so happy and bright and helpful. Way busier, way more efficient, much better customer service... Rose was funny and knew her job like the back of her hand. Had us in and out in 15 minutes, would have been 10 or less if I wasn't asking so many questions, faith restored in Chase due to this branch. Someone from this branch needs to go clean up that shady litter box near harbor freight and show them how it's done. That other branch had me pretty angry. If it wasn't for the excellent service at this branch... One of two things was gonna happen, I was gonna get done what I needed to get done or I was gonna close my half dozen chase accounts and credit cards and start banking somewhere else. You guys are heros and made that other branch look like chumps. I will drive the extra 5 minutes to this branch every single time.”

“I have been banking here for 10+ years now and have always lived close, so it has always been convenient. Everyone there is helpful, but Jenny Nguyen has probably helped me out the most! From being there for difficult times in my Life like handling my moms estate account, or making wire transfers to help me make a mortgage payment, or simply waving Overdraft Fees. Not only does she help you Financially, but she is a Friend as well. :) She has years of experience and knows how to help in any kind of way that you may need. Plus she loves her Job!”

“Very poor experience trying to refinance a new car. Due diligence wasn’t done even though I provided all the information and stated this was a new car that I hadn’t received yet that I would be refinancing. Wasn’t told that registration would be required to refinance with them until after they had already hard pulled my credit with their refinancing application. Can’t go through with the application even with my current lienholder provided a temporary registration card while I’m waiting for the actual registration to come in from the dmv. Application is expiring before I receive the registration. Now my credit score is 40 points lower due to the hard pulls and reapplying won’t give me the same rate as before.
Edited to 4 stars. Was given the wrong information again that I would have to reapply at a higher rate. Luckily after speaking again to the original rep, they found I was able to push it through because my registration came just in time and my initial credit pull had a separate expiration date from the actual application allowing for it be used again for reapplying at the same initial rate. A bit rocky but everything seems to be working out.”
“I love this little credit Union. I have set up a personal checking account, then a business account, then I got my daughter a savings account. They're always super courteous and very helpful and totally with it. They help me with the technology aspect and they are open for much of the day on Saturday. They are creative problem solvers. Go with this bank.”
