I read you may be opening some new Bi Mart stores after your closing of your farm stores.
We really need a Bi Mart in Newport on the Central Oregon Coast.
We live in Waldport and driving to Lincoln City or Florence is too far.
A Newport store would draw people from Newport, Toledo, Siletz, South Beach, Waldport, Seal Rock, and Yachats.
Plus the thousands and thousands of tourists that come to Newport.
There is some commercial property that is just south of the Newport Highway 101 bridge that is on Highway 101 that Home Depot was looking at about 10 years ago.
I know a Bi Mart would do very good in Newport!”

“Selco is such a welcome change after dealing with pretty much every other bank. The people there are the friendliest and go out of the way to try to help. The bank itself offers tons of member services and actually feels like they have your best interest (heh interest). Their notary service is such a huge relief as that can be a sporadic but big headache when needed otherwise. Can't recommend enough especially the folks at the w 11th branch.”

In contrast, First Tech is so consistently reliable with functional technology, rapid deposits, gentle with fees, and helpful with service that I have stayed a member with them for 39 years, since I first joined Tektronix Credit Union in 1987.
They've provided me with credit cards, second mortgages, auto and signature loans, as well as debit, draft and share accounts. They've issued cashier checks for me. They are my reliable partner, and unlike banks, credit unions aren't out to gouge their members.”

I can't say enough about how much help she was, the extra time she spent helping me set up my accounts. She was extremely generous with her time and problem-solving so that by the time I left for Ecuador on June 1, 2026 to begin my journeys, I was all set up. I really appreciated the personal touch, her responsiveness and the service. I was working against hard stop and tight deadlines but got my checkbooks and ATM cards in time. Kudos to Therese for her personalized service. She's a real pro and a pleasure to work with. Charles Schwab's banking services, tied to a brokerage account, are famous among those who travel like I do and it was my turn to set mine up. Now as I travel I can access money all over the world, get those pricey, pesky ATM fees reimbursed as necessary and have the confidence that I can move money around where necessary. After being transferred to many departments on the phone I saw that the new location close to me, on Royal ave was open even on a SATURDAY!
