A beautiful place to wander and unwind. Amazing natural areas and wildlife for those seeking a dose of nature.

They do great work, but a heads up to anyone hiking with dogs: the crushed stone they're using to rehab trails is hell on dog paws and gets very hot in the sun.

From Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah's Native Plant Nursery
The Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah care for 2,000 of the Park's acreage and additional 2,000 acres contiguous to the Park. Located among the cities of Pleasant Hill, Springfield and Eugene, the Friends strive to restore the Park to a pre-colonial condition-- one that prioritizes native plants, oak savanna, oak woodlands, and healthy wetland and riparian areas. The Friends use seed and plant materials specific to the Park to propagate for our restoration efforts. Volunteerism is at our core and is essential to caring for the Park. All people are welcome.
