Jerry's Home Improvement Center offers a better variety and more professional help than other big box stores. Their inventory is well stocked and neat, featuring a better variety of nuts, screws, and hardware not easily found elsewhere. They have everything and can order everything, with fantastic by-the-pound pricing for projects. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, solicitous, and attentive. Employees are readily available to assist, so customers do not have to wander looking for help. They staff appropriately, with people always asking if you need help. The store honors its word for price matching. Returns are simple, gracious, and common sense. While the lumberyard is very big, some note that other stores are more convenient for lumber with children. Overall, it is a very nice place, considered seriously the best, with many customers going out of their way to shop there and wishing every home improvement store was as well stocked, staffed, and managed as Jerry's.

one of the only places from my childhood that is actually way bigger than I remember it being. So glad they have been able to keep growing in a time when home town stores often close.
