“Oh my goodness. We just got done moving and let me tell you, these guys were lifesavers! We have a one year old and I have a bad back. They did ALL the lifting and then some, even helping us pack some odds and ends. I have a lot of collectable dishware and they were very careful with everything.

“These guys (2 employees seem to run the show) are awesome - you won’t get an almost new car like you would with the Big Boys but you’ll still get a reliable one.
Mine did have a decent size crack in the windshield but only had 50k mikes even though is was a few years old.
Good news is the Big Boys quoted me around 100 bucks a day but these guys only charged me 45! :) praying the lords blessing on them.”

They provided a Not to Exceed estimate and even though the job took an hour longer they didn't charge a ***** more. “Managed Moves dazzles and delivers! Without question they are experts as moving seniors, but what truly sets them apart is the quality of their service and the congenial nature of their employees -- whether it is someone working in the office coordinating moves or a person packing up belongs before the move or the individual doing the lifting and carrying on the day of the move. Personally, I have no idea how my sister and I would have survived the last 10 months without them. Since the end of October 2023, our parents have moved from a townhome to independent senior living, needed their townhome cleared out so it could go on the market, moved from independent senior living to assisted living, and had to make an internal move at their assisted living facility to separate apartments. Managed Moves has handled everyone of those situations and done so with grace, patiences, kindness, and professionalism (which is even more impressive when one realizes that the last two moves came together with less than two weeks notice each time). I genuinely feel like the core philosophy at Managed Moves is to treat every customer like family -- that is certainly the way that they have treated my sister, our parents, and me. One wonderful quirk is that, for all four instances when we have hired Managed Moves, one young man has been a member of the crew each time. When he saw me the second time we were using them, he went out of his way to say hello to me. And, at the third and fourth times, we have engaged each other in conversations that have had nothing to do with the actual move. Every member of their staff has shown me a similar level of genuine interest in us and our parents. On top of the excellent, personalized service, Managed Moves also knows the ins and outs of every senior living facility in the Portland area which allows them to be efficient and effective without disrupting the daily routines in the facility. Beyond the actual move, it is also incredible to watch the folks who come the day before the move to expertly pack everything in preparation for the move and then come the day after to unpack it all. Equally impressive is the rapid, yet thorough job Managed Moves does when handling a clean out of a senior's previous residence. Although the rates for all moving companies in Oregon are set by the state, the quality of the experiences that Managed Moves provides are where one realizes that they are providing a bargain for their customers. Even if the cost of hiring Managed Moves was double the actual prices that they charge, I would feel like I was getting the deal of a lifetime. The reality is that my sister and I will likely have to move one or both of our parents at least one or two more times, and no matter what the situation is, the one absolute given is that we will hire Managed Moves. I strong urge anyone to use them if you have the need to move someone into a senior living situation.”
“The management of Trojan storage helped us get a unit fast and hassle free.place is clean.and no bull going on around it.no People hitting you up for anything.are last public storage was a night mare.rude and non helpful employee's, camps right outside gate.trash inside and out in parking lot. And to top it of an employee broke into our unit and stole half the unit.they drilled out our lock 4 days early. Plus went into it because the lock they drilled out was left on a box half way into our unit.then put one of there locks on it.so talk about telling on themselves. So it's like night and day between theses two places. If you want your stuff safe and away from harm.stay away from public storage 117th. Thanks again Trojan for making this move so much easier. “While filling out my information for my spot it went really good and the guy working there was so kind. They were very kind for when I was using it and mostly was my trips away from home. I had a flat tire and just a day from leaving my trip. I called them the next day and explained what happened. The lady answered the phone and was kind and understanding of my situation. I just payed for one month of being gone but I coming back again for my next trip this year. Also they live so close to me so that is a PLUS.”

(For some reason I had it in my head that they close at 7) and he was extremely nice about it even though I was unknowingly being a j**** I am one of those people that ordinarily never stays at a business until closing time, as I have severe anxiety and don't ever want to irritate people.
