“I was recently referred to Alside by another contractor for vinyl siding J channels, the edging trim pieces of vinyl siding for around windows. At the store, Makenna was very helpful in showing what I needed and I discovered that Alside also makes vinyl windows, and so I ordered a custom sized window too. It arrived and was high quality and lightweight. Upon wall demo, I discovered that I needed 1.5” J channels instead of 3/4” due to the thickness of the existing siding. “Was expecting more home depot/Lowe's concept, but not really sure what to expect beyond that. They are open to the public, but definitely geared towards contractors with volume orders over time. They also have a massive lumber yard if you need anything wood

Expect more of a rural lumber/builder supply house in a large scale of materials. They seem to have a lot of items to sell, it is just not all on pallet racks for you to peruse. You ask the help at the counter and they will help you. Like they even know they are expected to help you, and not just cover a break in unfamiliar territory.
Even a person not directly involved with me tried assisting a bit, but had missed my intended usage statement, which was not typical for the item in question. On price alone, he has a better solution, but it did not assist in mitigating external noise as i was iintending to.

“We were there Tuesday June 19 2023 for walk in shower materials I think Phillip in shower heads was impatient. Matt in tile was excellent he took the time with us called for extra help for other customers and was just awesome. There was a small Mexican woman who was helpful too. Alll in all we had to search for help”
