“My car suddenly lost power and felt like the power steering went out. Looked under the hood and saw my serpentine belts were completely shredded. It was 3pm on a Friday. I did not think I would be able to get in anywhere, and that I was going to leave my car parked over the weekend away from my house.
Not only did they get me in immediately to start the repair, they also identified what the root cause was instantly. I dropped off my car, came back an hour later, and it was ready for me to pick up. The price to fix the root of the problem and replacing the belts was great. It truly was an amazing experience, and I plan on coming back for all my car needs.”

“I purchased a 2008 Mazda 3 a week ago & was referred here by a good friend. I needed to get a general check up on my car to make sure everything was running smoothly, & fix any potential problems. My experience was fantastic. Bryan is knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, communicative, & kind. It’s very obvious that he’s passionate for what he does. “I was recommended to bring my VW here from the advice of another excellent shop. They always find a way to get me into the schedule. The repairs and maintenance cost amount approval can be done remotely online after they inspect your car which is great . I had an old part replaced and when I brought it back later the same thing had broken but they honored their own part warranty without me knowing there was an issue beforehand so they are clearly honest as well. Highly recommend.”

“5 star service. Roy was honest with the repair issue and found the actual problem. I was quoted 3000+ at another location for my a/c. He found the problem- fixed it for 1/2 the amount. When I picked my car up, there were treats in it! I just got a thank you letter in the mail. In these days.. this kind of service is few and far between. I will never take my car anywhere else. The receptionist was also amazing (I can't remember her name) I highly recommend this place. Don't buy a new car, go see Roy!”

“Finally a shop you can trust! Everybody and anybody listen up. These guys are honest and they know their stuff. This shop has been open for over 30 years and the same owner is here. They tell it like it is and they put in good parts and they won't put in anything they don't stand behind. They have a 2-year warranty and if they can't stand behind that they won't install any parts in your transmission. And the service and pricing have been excellent. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. They have worked on two of my vehicles and the service and quality has been consistent. They are also proactive. On one vehicle, there's a design flaw in that the computer is literally resting on top of the transmission which gets super hot. Over the years the heat fries the computer and then you have to replace the computer. They let me know about it ahead of time and they moved the computer to a safer location a number of inches away. Just one example of how they care about doing good work and are less concerned about making a buck on every transaction. They saved me future time and money by doing this.”

Who knows if the company I went to previously actually used 100% synthetic though. I was recommended to Joe by friends and I always like to support fellow vegans whenever I can, so I scheduled an appt for this morning. Joe was super friendly, knowledgeable and had great communication. He was honest and clear about how everything went with my car and what to do the next time I get a message on my display screen. His prices are reasonable and he is quick too! He does a thorough inspection of the vehicle when he does oil changes and that is great to know when it comes to keeping other functions of the car in good shape. I plan to use Joe/Fairbanks Automotive moving forward for all of my mechanic type needs, and will recommend him/this shop to local friends as well. Also, Awakening Coffee, around the corner, is a super cute spot to do some work/hang out until your car is ready.”
