“aimee, lindsay and seth greeted us and were very welcoming! aimee and lindsay were super helpful in introducing us to the crypt of shadows room. aimee was particularly upbeat and great at setting the vision and using character voices. all of us left with glowing reviews of the rooms themselves. we one hundred percent will return. i recommend them highly. the rooms we learned are created from the owners who used to work in designing haunted houses. they definitely know what they are doing, we had so many clues and puzzles to work out that we solved it with seconds to spare. thank you all for a great time!”

“I participated in a wedding recently. This venue is great. You feel like you’re in the country and not minutes from the freeway. (which is also convenient) The grounds and buildings are well maintained. They take pride and it shows. The event planner, Elizabeth has a tough job making sure everything goes smoothly. She does it well and really cares about the wedding turning out as planned. The staff behind the scene are also very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this venue.”

“Could not have asked for a better first-time throwing experience! We booked super last minute and they were so accommodating - we got a bonus of Ted and his Son teaching us. Both incredible teachers! They were so friendly and informative and very supportive even when the Clay had a mind of its own. Jumped in when we asked for help and offered tips when we needed them. But otherwise let you be creative and explore the process on your own which I appreciated. We went over our time and they never once rushed us. 1000% would come back and telling everyone we know about it.

Also super convenient location with easy parking. The studio was lovely and super inspirational, you can tell they really enjoy what they do. You’re surrounded by stunning pieces everywhere so if you need a spark of creativity you’ll find it.”

“This is a lovely venue surrounded by cool places to eat and drink. The entry foyer is very nice with plenty of room for setting up greeting tables and a coat check..

The main ballroom has wonderful chandeliers, very high ceilings and lots of windows. Dance floor is a little small for the overall space but adequate.

The bathrooms are new and clean.

Set up in kitchen area is barely adequate.

Parking is plentiful.

That’s a great place for any medium size event.”

Their sales staff is beyond helpful with coordinating their inhouse catering and bar. Their day of staff was 10/10 in making sure everything was on time and ready to go for the couple. “I don't like the driving range tee box Tee position. They have the hole for the tee right in the middle on the sides. Does not give room to move your feet back behind the tee without you feet being of the terf. They need to fix the holes and move them up more.”

“I was parked at the convention center and had an appointment near there. When I came back from my appointment and tried to get into the building to get back to my car, I was having trouble because the doors were locked. A wonderful security guard named Cynthia spotted me and asked if she could help. She not only helped me get into the building, she walked me down the elevator and to my car. It was so great that she went out of her way to help me. And, she thanked ME for helping her get her steps in. What a caring, sweet individual she is.”

“Such a fun place for east coast swing dancing on Sundays! I felt welcomed and comfortable, and the price is really reasonable at $10 for a crash course and social dancing until 10:30pm.”

“Okay honest review I have been going here for years. But I can't give them 5 stars. Because I always hear of one seat not reclining or being stuck in the reclined position( my poor wife on friday). Other than that popcorn is always good and if you ask for extra butter you definitely get it. I know these are in alot of places my I love the coke machines. I mean come on why did it take so long to exist lol. We saw the Mandalorian and Grogu. Screen quality looked good seats were comfy. I didn't stick to the floor everything was nice and clean. We will go back we always do.”

“A Perfect Bridal Shower at Louiza Event Space
We recently hosted a bridal shower at Louiza, and I cannot recommend them enough. From the initial booking to the final moments of the event, Shobhna was a dream to work with. The planning process was seamless, and they were incredibly accommodating to all of our requests.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The space was bright and elegant, and it provided the perfect backdrop for our event. We came from out of town and did not have the ability to bring a lot of decorations. This space is decorated, spacious, and accommodates a fun and relaxed event. Our guests were so impressed with the atmosphere and most notably the food!!! The setup was handled flawlessly, and they made sure every detail was perfect.

The catering was outstanding. We chose a bridal shower package, and the food was delicious—our guests raved about the beautiful presentation and how yummy everything tasted. We could tell a lot of effort was put into the preparation and taste. Shobhna made sure we had everything we needed and let us relax and enjoy the space.

Louiza Event Space and Shobhna made the bridal shower a truly special and memorable event. We felt completely stress-free knowing we were in such capable hands. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with fantastic food and impeccable service, look no further.”

“We went to the Celebration of Life service for Lloyd Farthing Jr. who passed away in November 2025. The Elks Lodge was nice and the service was very good the pictures showed gave good narrative of his very active life. Karen his current wife and April did a great job putting his Celebration together. I was married to Lloyd for 10 years and we have a beautiful daughter April Kai married to Cody and her 2 daughters. Everyone that talked about Lloyd had sincere love for him. He will be missed by all who knew him in Portland and the surrounding areas, all the way to Texas where most of his family lives. “Super cute venue and Maria Duong is a fantastic day-of wedding coordinator!

We had our daughter’s wedding here. The surrounding forest is beautiful and the photos look magical (and we don’t even have the professional photos yet)! There is an outdoor bar where we had champagne before the ceremony, and full kitchen and bar inside an air conditioned, rustic lodge covered in little globes of light.

Maria helped us decide how to decorate and let us measure everything two months before the wedding.

We ended up hiring her to be the day of wedding coordinator, and I HIGHLY recommend you do the same! She worked the whole night running around to make everything perfect, so neither the bride nor I had to worry. We had unexpected rain the morning of the event, but she had a back up plan in place. We didn’t need it, and she made sure all chairs were dry before we even got there. She helped decorate, and took things and packed them away for us as things were finished. She walked through the ceremony with us the day before, including teaching the bride and groom how to do an exit dip on their way out. She made sure all the transitions were smooth, that the bride and her dress looked perfect before walking down the aisle. She bustled the dress afterward. Our caterers, bartenders, and photographer already happened to be familiar with her and with the venue, so I didn’t need to direct anyone at all. Super impressed, and I honestly do not know how it would have gone without her! AND, at the end of the night, she texted us photos she had taken herself during the event and they were spectacular! Above and beyond!

The sound system is great, they have cute wine barrels and little wooden tables you can use, there’s ample parking, a dressing room, and an outdoor playground for the kids, etc. Aside from a problem with the arch we had to solve, everything was perfect!”

“I loved this venue. My guest ALL loved this venue. Any requirements were clearly stated and written out. Contract was super simple to understand. I knew exactly what I was going to pay from day 1. There was no “extras” that I was required to pay after signing the agreement/contract. Ive had event venues throw in all the “youre required to purchase this and that” after I signed so that was frustrating but this venue did not do any of that. Parking was easy and available. I barely needed to decorate the room. All the tables and chairs were set up when I arrived. There was plenty of room even with 120 chairs. Bathrooms were clean. Lighting was perfect (no warehouse feeling). And honestly, my absolutely most valued thing they offered was that they only want me to take what I brought and that they do all the take down of the tables and chairs. They do the floor clean up and take the trash out, which was golden for me! Usually, at other places, we’re helping our cleaning crew clean up while in our traditional clothes and heels and we regret our choice of hosting but Kelly at eastman broad could not have made it any easier for me or my guest. We all absolutely loved it and weeks after my event, Im still getting messages about how amazing the event turned out and I really didnt do anything extra other than just getting a really great hall! I truly highly recommend this venue. The only thing I would suggest to others booking this venue is to give some grace with timely responses and communication. There is a slight lag in communication but not a deal breaker if your prepared for it. Dont do crazy last minute changes. Overall, book this place before someone else gets to it first! Its a hidden gem and I know Im setting myself up for never being able to get a date again by announcing how great this place is but I really dont recommend a place unless I wont use it again myself.
