I'm extremely impressed with Michael (I believe that's his name) who works the recycling. He is top notch! Very professional, courteous and makes sure it's clean! Enforces the limit rule to all the people who try to cheat the system (mostly immigrants) ! Those people ruin alot of our (USA born natives)resources by breaking rules that push companies to eliminate that resource. Michael deserves more praise and respect ( and a nice wage increase/ bonus)”

“This is a great place to stop for gas. Their prices are always better than anyone else’s in the area. They also have a convenience store and the people that work there are always very nice and fun to talk with.”
“My mother and I went gluten free about 5 years ago, and my partner has needed to go dairy free in the last year. When this first happened we had no idea where to start, what to eat and where to shop. We’ve been shopping here since, and we always find new things to try, and the prices are decent! Today was the best visit so far, the staff was so kind, especially Justin! He overheard us disappointed about a lack of product and instantly came to help us, he checked the back, and when they didn’t have it, offered to order in a case that not only would last us longer, but was a better deal overall! So thankful for this store, and the staff! Such positive and helpful energy! Thank you huckleberry hood river!”

“I bought chicken strips for my grandson and he normally he eats one or two....today he took two bites and handed it back to me..I took a bite and the flavor was bad and it had a weird smell. I returned to the store with the chicken for a refund. Shanti and Ellie were so nice and said no problem. They were both great and understanding. Personally I think the oil was the issue. Normally the chicken is good tasting for my grandson.”
“Small, reasonably priced, friendly, local market. Has the basics: milk, bread, baking supplies, canned goods, plus some fruit and veg. LOTS of spices, Latina specialty items (sauces, fruit juice, soda, sweets, cookies.....), kitchen items, baked goods, etc. Definitely a store for cooks! This is the closest market to my home and I'll be going there often.”
“Update: By reaching out through Instagram, I was able to get ahold of customer service and resolve my issue quickly! I’ve been offered a credit/refund for the unapproved substitution I couldn’t eat, and am happy to report that the other items in my delivery have been great so far. All of my questions were answered thoroughly, and I learned how to customize my subscription box for future orders. Suzy was a personable, helpful respondent to my needs and I am grateful for the prompt reply to my message.I’ve sent a couple of emails to the customer service address in the last eight days about my first subscription box (it was delivered today with a pricey unapproved substitution that I can’t eat and will need a refund for), and while the rest of the produce looks mostly fine, I’m considering canceling my subscription due to lack of responsiveness.”
“I stopped in for cheap chicken Monday. They had run out of chicken, but they were making more. It was definitely worth waiting for. Some of the best chicken I’ve had in a long time. Papa Frank was my cashier, and he is absolutely amazing! I always get in his line, every opportunity I can. Keep up the good work! Your team is awesome!”

“Was SHAD fishing downriver from the Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River. The day was awesome & warm, got sunburned a bit, caught a Small Mouth Bass, lots of people catching SHAD. BY the north side power house, there were maybe 100 fisher persons enjoying the event.
