“The service is usually quite prompt and reliable, although I have had communication difficulties at times when calling in with questions. Customer service seems to be hit or miss depending on who you reach. My major quibble is their refusal to offer auto-refills. It would be helpful if they offered this option for patients who rely on the same medications every single month. For those of us with executive dysfunction and other barriers that prevent us from remembering to manually refill our meds every month, it’s incredibly frustrating to have to do so every single time. This policy has caused me to go without my medication too frequently while I wait for my manual refill. No explanation is given for why this is a policy, beyond being repeatedly told, “it’s because we are a compounding pharmacy.” Frankly, this excuse makes zero sense as I have worked with multiple compounding pharmacies across the country who automatically refill my medications and notify me via a simple text message reminder. Surely this is a process improvement that would help many patients avoid missing doses of crucial medications. Hopefully you will consider implementing it!”

“They filled my prescription within the 30 minutes they told me it would take. The man who took my prescription even helped me find a coupon for a discount on my meds.Compare this to Costco where I waited 45 minutes only to be finally told they were out of stock!Costco may be cheaper but the service is terrible. I’m coming to this Lake Oswego Safeway pharmacy from now on.”

“I was visiting Portland over the last three days from the Bay Area. I realized I had forgotten to pack my prescription drugs so I visited this pharmacy Tuesday morning to see whether I could obtain three days worth of my drugs to tide me over through my visit. The pharmacist whose name I believe was Troy could not have been more helpful. He contacted the doctors and my drug insurance plan and obtained a supply of all the drugs I needed within about three hours. I am forever in his debt! And the other multiple staff I interacted with in the pharmacy and checkout desk were also very polite and friendly. Kudos to the staff for their superior customer service!”
