“I love this little market when I first moved to milton freewater this was the first store I went to.the owners are very nice,always nice employees. They have little Debbie's not many places still sale them .the drinks are truly still the coldest in town. The donuts are wonderfull.great style makes you feel like your were you belong there. Reminds me of grandmas house. Nice and comfy. Great service.”

“I recently stopped in to this mercado for tacos. I ordered chicken and a very spicy pork on corn tortes. the price was as excellent as the tacos. only $2.00 ! Of course today I stopped in for my #2 time. I bought the same 2 types of tacos then I found 2 beautiful papayas, The best corn tortes recommended by my amigo who makes the tacos, enchiladas, and much more! I highly recommend this market! unfortunately for me,I live in walla walla! From now on while passing through Milton Freewater either my destination or headed to-the our very best #1 veterinarian my animal doc. I will treat myself to the very best Mexican foods and make a memorable day of it. gracious to the nice friendly people in Milton Freewater! my home away from home. “I absolutely love that we finally got a Dollar general in Washington State. I guess this would be considered Oregon though but it is very close. It is not a dollar store so I do not get the words mixed up it is a store that has random stuff that is not expensive. Customer service is nice stuff is nice building is clean. I love going here to look for random stuff.”

He and his buddy ran our best employer (sykes-pnc bank) right into the ground with his laziness. now. here he is at my store. I have to drive to walla just to shop now at Walmart. disgusting to look at. wash his shirt. teach him to wear his mask. don't let him destroy our Safeway like he did to Sykes. lazy. dirty. and WILL NOT WEAR A MASK”

“Biggest grocery store in town.*Update 10/22/2023There is still only one other grocery store in town. They just redid half of the parking lot and it is so nice and smooth...not sure when or if they are doing the rest of the lot...plus much safer going in and out of the store. It does get quite crowded at times, but the cashiers do their best to get you checked out as quickly as possible & there are 3 self-checkouts if you want to use them.I'm not sure if it's a pro or con, but you almost always run into at least one person you know...lol.”
