“Hi folks!!! Merry Christmas to you all and your familyI was one of the drivers of the transportation team that relocated you all down to TX. My Roxy and I were privileged to be your last truck with your inventory. I wanted to thank you for the gift of her bag of Whimzees She's down to her last 2 and I'll be ordering more at the beginning of the year. I have also shared your website with several pet parents and have been told that they love your selection and prices. Easily a top site for some (so I've been told).I hope your business continues to thrive for years to come. Roxy and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.Sincerely,Kelly Mock & RoxyKnight Transportation”
“Had our son's birthday party here. Left us speechless with our experience. The kids and parents raved over their enjoyment from the educational part of their habitats to learning how to handle such reptiles. Big thanks to Dru and PDX Critters for everything. Small shop with everything you could need. Very knowledgeable. They are there for the critters and not some let's make a buck shop. Driving from Vancouver for all our needs.”
“Fish seem to be well taken care of. I love how they provide free education on the nitrogen cycle and how to set up a tank!
Update 2026: Still a great place to get your community fish! 100% recommend and super friendly”
“Wonder puppy has helped our super shy and scared puppy to really blossom and be confident. We’ve done their social classes, calm focus 1, skills 1 and calm focus 2.
I have seen their methods consider the well being of the whole puppy, things that we may not know or think of.
Instructor Sam is our puppy Sundari’s most favorite person beyond our family! Casey, the owner is incredibly perceptive and can really go above and beyond to help with your training goals.
Even their free training and guiding resources on website are of incredible value. This is our puppy’s #1 favorite place in all of Portland :) I highly recommend!”

“I’ve been getting my blue heeler nails done here since they’ve opened. Christina has always been wonderful and so sweet! My dog loves her! Everyone there is so friendly. Highly recommend!”
“We LOVE the new herring treats! They are amazing for toppers in a food bowl and are a fun treat to add in the rotation. We highly recommend these treats if you're looking for a fun way to get omegas into your pets life!”
“This location located on a busy street. We usually swing by this store after eating across the street. The atmosphere of this store is great, very spacious and clean. They carry quite a few of treats for both cats and dogs and also cute bowls.”

“1) Is this place slightly higher than others? Yes but it’s a great location and easy to access. (PS- It’s Raleigh Hills everything is expensive)2) Don’t listen to negative reviews because every person I’ve interacted with has been polite and helpful. Even helping me sign up for their rewards program.3) With a new puppy great selection of food and toys that I haven’t seen at other stores.”
“We’ve been bringing our pug for nail trimmings to Martha at Nature’s Pet Market for a few months now and have nothing but positive things to say! She’s very friendly, professional, efficient, and does a great job. Our dog is very comfortable with her, despite not being a big fan of having her nails trimmed (which is a huge win for us). Because she is a little finicky, Martha is able to secure her in a hanging dog harness, which is a big plus. She’s also very easy to schedule with. Highly recommend coming to Martha!”
“Fabulous service in a bright, well-stocked store. Had everything I was looking for and I even learned a few things. I was very impressed by the staff’s knowledge!”

“I really love the store! And so does my dog. Ever since he retired, he walks us miles just to get here at least once a week. The frequency is such that I deliberately drive him here in the hopes that he’ll stop pulling me across the city. They’ve got lots of single ingredient snack options to choose from and our favorite brand of dog food. Notably they have a squeaky pig and a squeaky shark that make a dog‘s dream come true. Save some for my dog. See you soon.”
“I really can’t say enough great things about Clackamas Feed. Friendly, helpful, they LISTEN to what your needs are. The kids behind the counter are great and respectful. It’s a great place!”
“We love this place! They’re always super helpful and kind. They also allowed us to return our cat food just because our cat didn’t like it, and helped pick out another one that might work.”
“Great selection of Inverts, Fish, Coral!
Awesome on the shelf goods, some of the best product for maintaining a reef.
Awesome people, super community oriented!
Love this place🙌”
“A wide variety of fish and supplies, I live about a hour away but every couple weeks I always make time to just come and walk around with my girlfriend to look at the beautiful tanks. I also always get my aquatic plants from here!”
“We love this store. We especially love our dog groomer, Polo. He has a lot of experience and we trust him with our 25 lb mini golden doodle. We’ve been going to him for years and we are always so impressed with the quality of our doodles groom. Thank you Polo!”
“This place is fantastic. Cats are carnivores and love raw meat and this is one of the only pet shops around that not only understands that but makes the effort to stock it.”

“This is not only a great neighborhood pet supply store with a fantastic selection and friendly folks, but the groomers are top-notch. They handle my very difficult small dog with grace and compassion. This is my go to for grooming, treats, and toys.”

“The people are always so sweet and helpful! The selection is great! My cat still plays with the nip toys from here (I recommend the pizza-shaped one) YEARS after I got it for her!”
“Amazing place! Great selection! Only pet store I go to in the Portland/clackamas area! Tanya gave me a great suggestion that fixed my dog’s ear infection quickly! 😆”
“Went to A to Z Pets Inc on a whim and loved it! You can tell they really care about their animals. The fish were gorgeous, and we couldn’t help but wave at big Al the giant gourami a few times. The aquatic plants are so healthy and thriving in my tanks. I will definitely be back. The staff was so helpful and easy to talk to, and I am really impressed by this store.”
“Excellent local pet store with all the things you need at good prices. They have Frozen raw bones, wellness dog food, good quality harnesses, all sorts of treats, etc.”
“My cat had to take some meds and I stopped by for wet food, the staff was super helpful with recommendations! My cat can be really particular with textures and they steered me to the right options for him. Such a nice store, definitely will be back!”

“Always super kind and helpful staff. My dog gets absolutely stoked anywhere in a 2 block radius of this store. A treat from a mudbay employee is god tier in his eyes.”
“We have had several great experiences here. The person who works here is very knowledgeable, and helped us find great treats and toys for our dog. The selection is surprisingly large for being a small space, but I would recommend this place based off of the great customer experience.”
“Best pet store anywhere! Amazing employees (courteous, helpful), A huge selection of food, toys, treats, accessories, leashes, and collars, just everything you could ever need you will find here. I love Shopping at the store and our dogs are always so thrilled when we come home with a variety of food choices, and everything Else!”
“Small local store and this is where we like to get treats for our best friend I love that it feels like an organic grocery store. Two staff members and overall a happy and healthy experience!”
“This place has been so helpful and kind during the last few months of my pets life they were so helpful and returned anything he didnt like. Ive found they beat out pricing compared to going directly to the brand. They just started carrying plants for sale in there which is so fun. Their knowledge in communication is very appreciated”
“I bought a bag of dog food that I thought was the same as my dogs regular food (See image), but the packaging was different (not shown). It was actually a different formulation and made my dog have diarrhea. (She is a pure-bred with a very sensitive stomach.)
I called the store and left them a voicemail. They called me back!! I was able to return the unused portions of the dog food and in exchange get cans of plain chicken, and plain pumpkin to settle my dogs tummy.
I am in the middle of trying to heal my pups digestion so I can reintroduce her to kibble.
I was offered the option to have the store special order the particular formulation my dog eats but that they do not typically carry. Thanks go to Kelsey for helping me sort things out most carefully.
I gave 4 stars because of the initial mishap, which was very distressing for both me and especially my four-legged friend.”
“Stopped in here to ask more info about raw dog food last summer. I have a dog with a slew of problems that would cost $70k plus in surgeries on a 5 year old Aussie that was a rescue originally from a backyard breeder. So yes the issues are genetic and while Happy Tails did educate me on raw dog food which was nice. ( Thank you) My new Holistic vet has educated me on raw dog food as well. My dog is improving by 85% now since last summer because of turning her to raw. I do want to thank you for your knowledge, and taking her to a holistic vet helped as well. The vet actually makes her own and sells it to her clients as well. Happy Tails warned me against buying it from her due to all the bacteria and botulism ect that could be in it. The owner said it’s human grade food and not meant to be eaten raw. Interesting thing though is my Holistic vet has had 34 dogs over the years and never lost one to homemade raw dog food.Nor have her clients. Though I listened and took the advice of Happy tails I now buy freeze dried raw at another store I found more convenient to me. The reason I chose not to buy from Happy tails is because I did purchase fresh raw in a 5lb loaf that the owner told me she fed to her dog. I got it home. Defrosted it in the refrigerator and then fed it to my girl the next day. She turned her nose up. My other dog did the same and so did my daughters dog. I had no idea at the time how it was to look or smell, or the texture of it. It was such a horrible smell but not sour. I know that smell of bad meat. I had to open doors, turn on fans wear gloves and it stuck more to my hands than it got in the bowl. It was full of very noticeable bone fragments, big ones. And it was liquidity and just a complete mess! It honestly smelled like I was cleaning out my rabbit hutches when they hadn’t been cleaned for a few days when I was a teenager. I froze it took it to the Holistic vet. She said it was full of more fat and water than protein and the bone fragments were so large they could get caught up anywhere internally. I just cut my losses and chose to never buy it again. Unfortunately I don’t remember the brand. But i thought you should know that and sorry this review is so late in coming in. I have just had several major life issues and health problems myself taking my time. This is not meant to be a bad review. But more so informational and I understand if the food were bad you should have known back then, however if that is the nature of that particular 5lb loaf I am not understanding how it is any more safe than homemade raw dog food done correctly with organic grass fed meat.”
