“Wonder puppy has helped our super shy and scared puppy to really blossom and be confident. We’ve done their social classes, calm focus 1, skills 1 and calm focus 2.
I have seen their methods consider the well being of the whole puppy, things that we may not know or think of.
Instructor Sam is our puppy Sundari’s most favorite person beyond our family! Casey, the owner is incredibly perceptive and can really go above and beyond to help with your training goals.
Even their free training and guiding resources on website are of incredible value. This is our puppy’s #1 favorite place in all of Portland :) I highly recommend!”

“We’ve been bringing our pug for nail trimmings to Martha at Nature’s Pet Market for a few months now and have nothing but positive things to say! She’s very friendly, professional, efficient, and does a great job. Our dog is very comfortable with her, despite not being a big fan of having her nails trimmed (which is a huge win for us). Because she is a little finicky, Martha is able to secure her in a hanging dog harness, which is a big plus. She’s also very easy to schedule with. Highly recommend coming to Martha!”

“I really love the store! And so does my dog. Ever since he retired, he walks us miles just to get here at least once a week. The frequency is such that I deliberately drive him here in the hopes that he’ll stop pulling me across the city. They’ve got lots of single ingredient snack options to choose from and our favorite brand of dog food. Notably they have a squeaky pig and a squeaky shark that make a dog‘s dream come true. Save some for my dog. See you soon.”

“Always friendly staff and fully fleshed out freshwater selection. Saltwater section coming along. Some dry goods I noticed are priced significantly higher than you can find at online retailers (which I know can be an unfair comparison but I think more than 2x on some products is a bit much, in my opinion, while knowing how impossible it’s becoming to run small brick and mortar businesses).”

The staff always ALWAYS remembers me even when i havent gone in a good while. Good folks and a good store.
Obviously their prices are a bit more than the average pet store cause theyre smaller, i am happy to pay the premium though.”

“Went to A to Z Pets Inc on a whim and loved it! You can tell they really care about their animals. The fish were gorgeous, and we couldn’t help but wave at big Al the giant gourami a few times. The aquatic plants are so healthy and thriving in my tanks. I will definitely be back. The staff was so helpful and easy to talk to, and I am really impressed by this store.”
“I bought a bag of dog food that I thought was the same as my dogs regular food (See image), but the packaging was different (not shown). It was actually a different formulation and made my dog have diarrhea. (She is a pure-bred with a very sensitive stomach.)
I called the store and left them a voicemail. They called me back!! I was able to return the unused portions of the dog food and in exchange get cans of plain chicken, and plain pumpkin to settle my dogs tummy.
I am in the middle of trying to heal my pups digestion so I can reintroduce her to kibble.
I was offered the option to have the store special order the particular formulation my dog eats but that they do not typically carry. Thanks go to Kelsey for helping me sort things out most carefully.
I gave 4 stars because of the initial mishap, which was very distressing for both me and especially my four-legged friend.”

“What a great spot! My partner and I wanted to let the dogs blow off some steam this afternoon. We found the Good Dog and made an easy reservation. The location was easy to find with other interesting shops nearby. Eric helped us check in and showed us to the space. It's a open, rubber matted space that was clean and well lit. There was shelving that held an assortment of toys for Betty and Shoba to try out. They chased balls and played tug for 30 minutes, tongues were lolling and they drank bunches if water. We bought the toy Betty loved the most, a super bouncy cube with rounded corners. We can't wait to go back with friends!”

“I called to inquire about options for my dog's dental care, given he is a reactive senior dog and cannot go under anesthesia. Although we concluded that for safety reasons it would be best to not move forward with an appointment (due to his reactivity), I was given great advice on how I can handle the early stages of tartar buildup. She was very thorough and listed out different options, and was open honest about her process and such. I greatly appreciate that she took time out of her own day to do so - even though it was not a good fit. I'll be sure to recommend her services to others in the future!”
