Suddenly you have an overwhelming desire to retrofit your entire home-Wait, actually move into a new home which is reminiscent of The Brady Bunch-or possibly a cool apartment like in Mary Tyler Moore and go all out with new-old-decor. It’s that good. Go, enjoy the experience-and remember to chat with the staff, they are an incredibly friendly bunch.”
“This is an excellent thrift store! The atmosphere and item curation are boutique-y, while the prices are very reasonable. When I was browsing it seemed like a majority of items are in the $10-20 range. It's also a wonderful nonprofit. I'll definitely be coming back!”
“I agree with another review that this place was a tad hard to reach with the way the streets around it are placed, however, once I was there I loved it. The store was very well organized and I was able to find a few items like a jacket and a large glass mixing bowl for reasonable prices. The charity to cats for adoption gets extra points-- they have a wall showing all the cats that got adopted out and its so cute.”

“10/5 stars from me! I’ve always loved coming here, but was totally blown away by the sweet customer service today! My 5 week old was getting hungry and was crying at checkout. As I was getting ready to pay, the sweet lady at the register asked if I needed a quiet place to nurse him. Although I turned down the offer, I wanted to come on here and give PACS a shoutout for their thoughtfulness. Getting out with a baby that nurses frequently can be challenging at times- especially when there isn’t an ideal place to sit down and nurse! Thank you so much again for thinking of that. It truly made my day!”

The patience and dedication they demonstrate on a daily basis is truly amazing. Their non judgemental sincere concern and caring is evidence of their commitment to every individual who walks in their door asking for assistance. Instead of feeling like you are being given a handout based on pity you leave with the feeling someone honestly just wanted to give you a hand up and that they understand everyone goes through hard times. Whether it is a food box, counseling or one of the other many services they provide it is the individuals who selflessly commit their time who make this place truly special.”

“I went in on a Tuesday and bought a beautiful couch. It was half off the listed price as Tuesdays are senior discount days. The staff was super friendly. When I went to pick it up after renting a van from HD I was surprised to find that they deliver as well! The store manager and his helper Hugo loaded it up, drove the van for me, moved my old couch out and brought the new one in!! The Union Gospel thrift store puts 100% back to the community. To me that's the best part.”

“Great spot to recycle old electronics safely + efficiently. Not a brick and mortar store anymore, which is disappointing, but glad they are keeping employees away from COVID, which is still rampant. “I really enjoy consigning here. I have had a hard time understanding the process, but the staff are patient in explaining it to me when I forget. I have had success in consigning items I’ve brought in and the percentage I receive are good. Lovely staff & great place.”

“I've been coming to this store for many years! I just love this place! Great prices, awesome selection and amazing staff! I'd like to recognize one particular staff member that stands out. Her name is Allie and she can be found most days in the book room sorting out books and adding to the seldom empty bookshelves. Since she started working there the book department has become so much easier to navigate! Also, she really takes pride in her work and takes interest in the customers. She even asked me my name and asked me what kind of books I like! When I come so when I visit, she can point me in the right direction. I buy a lot of books from PACS because I sell books for a living. In the past, I would shop at PACS about twice a month. Now I'm there nearly every day directly because its so much better because of her energy there! Keep up the amazing work! I appreciate you!”
