“I have mixed feelings about posting this because selfishly, I'd like to keep it to myself, but a better part of myself is winning: Second Edition Resale is a great spot for deals in town! It’s a charming small shop, and while a larger location would be nice, the cozy size definitely helps keep their prices incredibly low. I love browsing their selection of housewares and the extensive sections for both adult and children’s clothing. The best part is knowing that every purchase supports the Cedar Mill Library, and the staff consists of wonderful volunteers who make the experience even better. It’s a local gem with a great mission—definitely worth a visit.”

“I love popping in for a little treasure hunt every now and again as they are right up the road from me. What you may be able to find is pretty hit and miss but the staff is super helpful and if you're looking for something specific, they will check for you. Recently I was looking for fabric for a kinusaiga project (fabric mosaic type art), and the shelf selection was lacking, so I asked. The older lady on staff that day was very kind and brought me a bin from the back and I was able to find a whole pile of wonderful cotton batiks for under $10. Just what I needed! I also love their friendly shop cat, top tier staff member. A+”

“I've been coming to this store for many years! I just love this place! Great prices, awesome selection and amazing staff! I'd like to recognize one particular staff member that stands out. Her name is Allie and she can be found most days in the book room sorting out books and adding to the seldom empty bookshelves. Since she started working there the book department has become so much easier to navigate! Also, she really takes pride in her work and takes interest in the customers. She even asked me my name and asked me what kind of books I like! When I come so when I visit, she can point me in the right direction. I buy a lot of books from PACS because I sell books for a living. In the past, I would shop at PACS about twice a month. Now I'm there nearly every day directly because its so much better because of her energy there! Keep up the amazing work! I appreciate you!”

“The Goodwill on 52nd is the closest to my home so I shop and donate there frequently. It is smaller than other stores in the area, but generally has a nice selection - I rarely leave empty handed. Recently I accidentally donated a bag of clothing that had a shawl and throw-blanket I meant to keep. Fortunately, I dropped off the bag on Sunday and realized my mistake before they opened Monday. Tammy, a manager was very helpful. She asked me for detailed descriptions then had employees who sort the clothing look through the bin and find the items for me. They found the items right away and set them aside for me to pick up during my lunch. I really appreciate that Tammy returned my call right when the store opened and that she called me right away when they found the items I mistakenly donated. I will definitely continue shopping and donating at this location.”

The bathrooms are available and super- clean. 2. The store manager, Carolyn, who is an excellent listener, is easy to speak with. I see why she's in this position ... as an awesome communicator, she makes this frustrating (IMHO) job look easy.”

“Love this store. I was visiting Portland from Vegas and I always find time to thrift while out of town and this store did not disappoint. Like all Goodwills, the prices were higher then they should be but given the pricing these days I still feel like I found amazing items for a decent price. I bought 5 pairs of designer shoes for $13 each and some great vintage clothing items. The store is super clean and organized and in a good location. Can't wait to visit again”

“Just checked this place out for the first time. Gotta say, there was a lot of unique stuff I don’t see at other thrift stores. Theres an entire piano in there right now, and multiple really high quality china cabinets. Its also pretty well organized. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is that the pricing seems… strange. The piano, for example, was a STEAL. The price is insanely low for a piano. And there were couches that were half the price I’d see at Goodwill. But the china cabinets were priced pretty normal for a consignment store; not an unfair price by any means, but a bit high for a store with “salvage” in the name. And then there was some other items like backpacks for sale that were just full retail price. That didn’t make any sense to me. It just looks like the prices were kinda all over the place. So I wouldn’t say to skip this place by any means! Some of the prices were a great deal! Some were an average deal! And some were… making me scratch my head. But honestly, I’ll keep coming back every once in awhile in case something I want happens to be one of the good deals haha”
