“My friends and I went to the Chapel Theater for the first time and saw The Trail to Oregon. What a fun night!! The space is intimate yet professional and outfitted with high quality production equipment. The bar was a pleasant surprise for a small venue like this. And the cast was outrageous! Can’t wait to see the next show here!”

“This was my first time seeing a film at the Lake Theater, although I have been previously to see live music. I adore the cozy modern vibe of the space, the comfortable seating, and the little touches of humor throughout the decor.Unfortunately the food does not live up to the clever and appealing ingredient lists on the menu (or the pricing). The burger and salads we ordered were surprisingly bland, although the parmesan oregano fries were more flavorful. The thing that really puzzled me was the food system during the movie. Orders are signaled as ready by a puck with bright flashing blue lights. In the first 20 minutes of the movie, there are a lot of orders that become ready and are super distracting. Compounding this, there is a walkway and exit in the upper section that many people use to pick up food and return to their seats. This is close enough to the ceiling that anyone using it blocks the projectors path to the screen and hides part of the movie from the entire theater (including subtitles).I’m leaving a five star review here since I like what the place is aiming for, but the owners could certainly improve the experience greatly with a few tweaks.”

“Wonderful sweet toy store. A place for play, learning, connecting and fun. Friendly service. I hardly have the words to explain it all. Amazing party balloons. Check it out. You won’t be sorry.”

“We got married here on 10/8 and it was perfect! I fell in love with the tree immediately, and it was fantastic to get married under it. We had a party of ~80 and it fit us great. They just updated the reception space, and it's looking much better than before.”

“Amazing bar! Discovered this great spot trying to find a place to hang out between afternoon Salt and Straw and dinner. They had 6 taps (apparently on rotation) and a unique high density hops beer. The staff was so nice and we loved it so much that we stayed and ordered a pizza from Wild child next door!”

“(Apologies for my camera, I skate and cracked the camera lol). Went and made dinner reservations online a day or so before. Super easy.Showed up, and got seated quickly. It is a beautiful little spot. The restaurant and bar is really nice. Menu was too good, hard to choose a dinner entree.I got the Hanger Steak with fries and it was phenomenal. Drinks were great. It was about $50/person for food and dinner. Skipping refills and dessert. I would come here again for any occasion! Can't wait to come back for summer time dining.”

“Tendue was the perfect spot for a company holiday party! It is so cute that I barely had to decorate. I appreciated the option to rent their dishes and pay for cleaning. There were carts available for unloading and loading, which was very convenient. Tristan was so friendly and incredibly helpful! Everything I needed to know was thoroughly communicated. I would definitely recommend this venue!”

“My husband and I dined in the cozy lounge where we were able to choose from three menus! Chef Marco delivered our Veal and Maui Maui entrees. Both were cooked to perfection with savory sauces and vegetables. We highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner:)Parking: There is plenty of street parking within walking distance.”

“Beautiful room with some exceptional views and lighting at sunset. The owner was very communicative and friendly, and her instructional video was helpful. The room itself is very spacious, I'd guess at least 12-foot ceilings. We started shooting around 7pm, so the natural light coming through the window wall was awesome. Interior lighting is ceiling cast, very yellow, I'd say around 4800k. Also, there is a Bluetooth stereo in the room which was great! Walls and floor were all hardwood and bare; keep that in mind if you plan to record video/audio. There's a back room with some useful equipment, plenty of seating, a changing portion and yeah, just a great place. Definitely will be shooting here again.”

“I had the chance to see this place during a fundraising gala and I was impressed by the industrial theme they have inside. Its very high ceiling and wide indoor space gives it a grand feeling and allows the visitors to roam around with comfort. Even with 200-250 people inside one does not get the sense of overcrowding, which is great. Drinks and food service were also great. Service staff was also very professional. This space also has a big dedicated parking lot, which makes life so easy. All in all, I had a great time with fellow guests here.”

“If you’re looking to book an event, you absolutely need to have it at Louiza. The space is warm and inviting, and the staff were incredible to work with. We held our welcome wedding dinner here, and we received endless compliments on the space. Deangelo was wonderful to work with from start to finish along with the rest of the staff that worked our event. I’m truly telling everyone I know about this space because we had a perfect experience.”

“I've seen three concerts here so far and it's definitely a unique venue. Small and intimate floor on the inside. The balcony has a great view. The nicety for me is the enclosed courtyard outside. It's just a cool place to hang out, sit around the fire pit and just have a good conversation.”

“One of the best cultural experiences in the Portland area. There is always something going on here such as the Finnish Christmas Service that was taking place today. The adjacent Scandinavian restaurant, Brodor is decent and obviously fits the theme. The troll trail with the troll house was the highlight of this visit. I had no idea this was here and it was a lot of fun for the family to check out.”

“I attended a private event here tonight. Service and hospitality was top notch; food was all delicious, from the bang bang cauliflower, pork skewers, meatball sliders, charcuterie board, apple fritters, etc. Highly recommend.”

“Tumwater has a very beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Nestled in the hills of West Linn, the grapevines sprawl all around the tasting room, and the patio has a serene pond and gorgeous flowers surrounding it. They have a bit of a hands-off approach, which I kind of enjoyed for a change. All tasting wines are brought out at the same time, and there's no long drawn-out description of each varietal. You just get to sip and enjoy at your own pace.”

“Very cool local farm in the rural section of West Linn. They specialize in alpaca and sheep's wool clothing items, but also sell ostrich and lamb meat from their own grazing herds! Pretty cool to see the ostrich, emus, alpacas, sheep, and even peacocks just walking around ask over the place. Fun for kids too with cool activities.”

“My husband and I could not be more happy that we chose The Oregon Golf Club (OGC) as our wedding venue. After we had visited what felt like every venue in and around Portland, we came to do a walkthrough at the OGC. Once we drove into the long drive and saw the view of Mount Hood, we knew this was our wedding destination. The rose garden is the perfect place for a ceremony and the white tent is picturesque and gives ample room for a reception. Not only did the OGC look beautiful in every way, but the staff at the venue were incredible. My husband and I worked with Nicole and she went above and beyond to make our experience as memorable as possible. She answered every one of my questions promptly and walked us through each step in the planning process. During our wedding day, Nicole and the OGC staff made us feel so special by catering to all of our needs throughout the day and continually checking on all of our guests. Throughout the night, our guests came up and told us two things: 1) this was the prettiest wedding venue they had been to and 2) the food was incredible. Needless to say, we had a perfect wedding day and are internally grateful to Nicole and the rest of the staff at the OGC for giving us a day we will never forget!”

“The facility was clean, spacious and simply well decorated. The staff was attentive and friendly.Parking was a chore. The neighborhood is unpleasant and industrial. There were many unsightly RV homes parked near the venue.I am not sure how safe this neighborhood is at night.”

“This place might have the best chicken wings I've ever eaten. Service was good, and beer selection was not too shaby. I like that you can order 12oz or 16oz versions of everything on tap. I still haven't ventured into the wine bar, but it looks promising.”

“I go to the Oregon City Elks Lodge to play bingo on Wednesday evenings. (Disclosure: I am not a member) I know they are a fraternal organization, in which you have to pay yearly membership fees. That membership allows you to go to any Elks Lodge. There are some that have bowling alleys, swimming pools, little restaurants/bars, fun themed event nights/fundraisers, along with many other things! They do a lot of charity work. Different lodges have different amenities and events. Bingo at the Oregon City Lodge, specifically, is open to the general public (21+) and is a lot of fun!”
