“Great general store if you need to grab a few items while in Govy. Very laid back mountain atmosphere, so don't expect too much as far as customer service but they'll get you in and out fast. Nothing fancy, but they've got the basics covered: soda, liquor, snacks... your normal quick stop fare. For us they've become a go-to first stop in the morning for coffee. They have breakfast sandwiches, cheap but not the greatest. But, they're open before the restaurants and they've got a pretty decent coffee selection, always hot and for cheap...our 2 cups for like $2.50, can't argue with that.”

“Fine local grocer. Contra other reviews there is a market 10mi away in Odell, a large indie supermarket in lower hood river about 14mi, and friggin Walmart 17 miles away. So it’s not like a desert oasis for cans of beans. But it will do you just fine for most standard grocery items. Produce and meat aisles are good quality if smaller. Folks are friendly (again contra other reviews) and the liquor store is a big plus. Add the PO next door and the coffee place across the tracks and you have a one stop shop for most days. Mine at least lol”
