Local dealers were having a hard time even sourcing a replacement transmission and were quoting me months of turnaround time for labor. Transmission repair shops were asking nearly double the price of a new transmission just to remanufacture my damaged one. Jim at Pete’s was able to find me a new transmission with a warranty directly from Ford’s distribution center, had it delivered to his shop within the week, installed it, and had me back on the road just a couple of days later. “I have used NAPA auto parts in Pheonix Oregon many times over the years and always had a good experience with them. The parts they have provided for me, on three older vehicles, have always been the right ones and the price has been good.
They have always done a good job, a quality job that I expect.
But, I'm writing this review now, as they went above and beyond to help me yesterday. I have a vehicle that had sat for a couple of months and an unknown drain or the battery had reduced the voltage to about 10 volts. I took the battery(purchased at the NAPA store) out of the vehicle for them to test. They confirmed that it was still good but needed to be charged. They told me that a 24 hr trickle charge would be best for the battery but that it could charge faster. As I needed the battery sooner than that, I asked that they fast charge it.
After dropping off the battery at approx 1 p.m. I called at 4 p.m. and was told it was still charging and would be ready prior to closing at 5:30 p.m. I arrived at the store at around 5:15 and the battery was not ready.
The store associate then said that they would provide me with a replacement battery since mine was not ready ( as they said it would be). This was above and beyond in my opinion and greatly appreciated as I did really need that battery to be able to get to work the next day.
I highly recommend NAPA in Pheonix Or and they will continue to be my parts store of choice!”
