Buffalo Exchange is a unique thrift shop with a ton of clothes and shoes everywhere, offering a lot of variety for different styles. The staff is consistently described as fantastic, friendly, and nice, with many customers highlighting zero bad experiences and helpful, knowledgeable service that creates a fun and memorable shopping experience. Customers appreciate the option to donate items for store cash credit, making it easy to switch out old clothes. However, opinions on pricing are mixed. Some find most items pretty pricey, noting that similar items can be found elsewhere for less, while others report finding unexpected gems and good deals. A strong recommendation is to call before visiting to ask what specific items, like denim, are currently being bought, as inventory needs change. Some customers feel the selling process has become greedy, with clothes not holding much value beyond the price tag. A few reviews also mention that the customer base can seem entitled. Despite some criticisms, many customers had an incredible experience, would highly recommend the location, and plan to return.
I appreciate the option to donate for store cash credit. It's nice for switching out old clothes for clothes I would rather wear that is in store.

Last time I sold here they only took 1 item and Crossroads (across the street) took everything, seriously, every last thing. Just save your time and go to crossroads first.

Only Oregon location I'll sell to. Strongly encourage people to call before they go in & ask what they are and aren't buying. Seasonal is one thing, inventory is another - last time I went they mentioned they specifically needed denim so I'm going back today with a bunch of jeans.
