Pistils Nursery on Mississippi Avenue is a beautiful and surprisingly large plant store described as one of the best. It is more than a nursery, offering an experience as a sanctuary of green within the city. The store has an awesome selection of artistic plants, including Aroids, succulents, and orchids, plus artisan pottery and supplies. It features a fun terrarium bar, workshops, chickens, and a great outdoor area. The staff brings passion, expertise, and attentive care, making interactions pleasant and helpful. They also provide excellent virtual experiences. Visitors are invited to linger, learn, and find inspiration, with many planning to definitely be back.
Interesting - We weren’t looking for a plant store but stumbled in and were greeted by a very friendly employee who was very knowledgeable about house plants. Being from Florida, we couldn't buy plants to take back home on the plane. But we did purchase some plant-insect control stakes.
