“Always high quality vegetables & fruit, fresh honey, nuts,baked goods& great customer service. Good parking..a little pricey but worth it. I picked up a variety of apples and there must have been at least a dozen different varieties to pick from. I also got pears, corn on the cob, green beans, squash and yams. All local fresh! Now is the time to get produce there. Too much to mention all that they have,but they have a ton of pumpkins in all sizes and colors great choices to pick from.”

“The technician, Lee, was so nice. He shook my hand as he introduced himself, he smiled. Finally, he didn’t outright laugh when he found the water turned off. I was grateful. Then he thoroughly checked all my zones and sprinkler heads. Which he found to be in good working order. So all in all I give this experience a big fat yay with all the trimming’s.”

“Got some native plants here. Very very good quality and beautiful, especially the Flowering Red Current bushes we got! The Serviceberry bush is now gigantic, and isn’t too expensive! Beautiful trail as well, and lots of variety. One of the best nurseries I’ve been to!”

“Another great experience at 7 Dees Nursery’ Cedar Hills store. I was searching for a specific plant that I could not find on their website and called their team to ask if they had it in stock; they let me know they did not but offered a couple of alternatives that fit my very specific requirements and encouraged me to come to the store and take a look at them. I did so, they showed me alternatives, gave me some additional insights, and I bought one of them for the perfect fit on my front porch. Appreciate the extra touch on Customer Service and their willingness to offer recommendations beyond what I originally sought.”

“The place rips. Tool sharpening, feed for chickens, animal bedding, and a very knowledgeable owner. Also, very cute and chill shop dog. Hours are limited and stock can run out (call ahead if you need something that day), but it's a small local shop. My go-to for chicken stuff, and my girls love the feed options here. 10/10”
“This place is so great. I hadn't rented anything for a couple years, but had a larger landscaping/cleanup project. I just borrowed two different long pruners and they were both super sharp.
Honestly, I would not have been able to get this done without borrowing these as both renting and buying were too expensive.
Plus when I go in everyone is friendly and helpful.

“First, I want to express how much I love this place!! I’ve taken two classes here over the last ten years and it’s always so much fun.
I took my second class last night and just wanted to recap my experience. The instructor was very kind, personable and knowledgeable. This dude knew his stuff! He was super helpful when building my terrarium to make sure I went home with something I really enjoyed. It was such a fun experience and I highly suggest it! Especially for people who aren’t the greatest at keeping houseplants alive as the work needed for these are very minimal.
Here’s why I do not give five stars. The pricing. The class itself is $60 with $25 of that going towards the glass terrarium receptacle you chose once in the shop. Also, sounds like you can get a Groupon (didn’t know that was still a thing) and get the class at a discount. The website does clearly state they have terrariums $50 to $400 and to plans on spending $100+. My issue is, the $50 is a mason jar. I don’t remember seeing anything else until you get to $124, then it’s up from there. Two of the $124 jars are $10 IKEA jars (clearly stamped IKEA on the bottoms).
Listen, I get this is a business and they need to make money, I’m not ignorant. My complaint is that you got someone coming in wanting to do something fun with their friends and then realizing they’re stuck with a mason jar because of how expensive it is. You can’t really even see well through a mason jar. If you’re selling $10 IKEA jars, it just seems like it could be a bit lower ($70-$90 maybe) than the $124 price it currently is. Just feels like this is something catered to upper middle class individuals when it doesn’t need to be.
Also, not forgetting to mention, the price DOES include lifetime care of the terrarium. If it gets mold or dies or something, you can bring it back and they’ll help you with it for free.
So there’s my long winded review of Roosevelt’s. Love this place, love the people, just wish it was more affordable so more people could experience how fun this is.”

“I discovered this place earlier this year on a recommendation, and boy am I glad I did! Adorable little shop filled to the brim with all sorts of plants, both common and rare. The prices are extremely reasonable, and they fit a LOT of variety into a fairly cozy retail space. You should come for the plants, but definitely stay for the people; The employees are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, and Paige and Zoe have personally helped me out with any number of silly questions as I’ve gotten further into my houseplant journey. As someone who has a lot of questions, their patience is so appreciated, and their recommendations have really helped me out. Ella is great too, and had some great soil recommendations for a propagation project I’m working on.
This place is fantastic, and if they don’t have what I’m looking for, they’re usually happy to help me track it down (shout out to Paige for hunting down a fabulous Scindapsus Moonlight for my friend, and a great looking Callisia for me!). If you’re looking for a spot to pick up some cool plants, or restock on some supplies, or buy some cute pots, Plants on Broadway is absolutely worth the trip.”

“Quality assortment of tools, irrigation supply and garden lightning. Good and helpful crew under supervision of manager, Dave, who will go above and beyond for you, to make sure you are satisfied and get a service, it is hard to come by nowadays. He would put an extra effort and time to coach his new, young, crew members, even if it means him staying longer at work to finish his tasks. That is a type of guy, you want on your side, when it comes to finish projects. Highly recommend this location.”
