“Had to get an oil change at Armstrong VW and was told i also needed brakes. They said my brakes were at a 1 and were grinding "metal on metal." they quoted me $765 for the fronts.So I took my car to my preferred VW repair shop, Precision Motor, and was quoted around $550-600$for the same job. They inspected my brakes and to my surprise I DONT NEED BRAKES! i was nowhere near a 1! Thank you for the honesty and amazing service! I have 2 VWs and they will continue to be serviced by this great shop!”

“Daniel is THE BEST! Took my call on a Sunday and let me come by the same day to assess the damage to my paint. He had me in first thing Monday morning and the car was finished by noon. He was far less expensive than what insurance quoted me (just to determine the damage, their quote didn’t even include sanding or refinishing). He was honest and direct and didn’t try to up-charge or do more work than needed. Did I mentioned that I had animal scratches around my entire car so he had to buff, sand and refinish almost every panel?I cannot recommend highly enough! My car looks brand spanking new!Service: Painting”

“Big Thank you! to Big Paul’s Towing in Portland.He did an excellent job towing our 37’ 5th wheel trailer hauling it way up in the hills.I was luck to find him late in the day for a job we needed done a couple days later. He was very accommodating and helped us schedule appointment on a certain day and time over the phone and was able to pay over the phone, that was super helpful too. He arrived on time and was very helpful with the hook up and pre trip checks. Again very nice to deal with everything went smoothly, very happy customer here! “This place is horrible to deal with if you have your car towed, super expensive fees for towing and storage. Close to $700 for only having my truck for two days! But on the other hand, they also have great deals if you go to one of their auctions that is open to the public. Can pick up a nice little car or truck for basically pennies on the dollar.”

“I had a really great experience here when I was going through a stressful month of car-related issues. My car was not drivable and I needed it to be "in the shop" in order to qualify for a rental from insurance, and although they couldn't get me in for a few days the staff here helped me out with a loophole that qualified me for the rental. Everyone here was friendly and I want to especially thank Savannah for being especially helpful and communicative throughout the process. She even waited after close on a weekend for me to come back and get my bike which I had left behind in my excitement to have my car back. Overall, everything with the repair went smoothly and relatively quickly considering how backed up repair/body shops are these days.Thanks Bob Thomas Carstar and Savannah!”

“These guys are awesome. I went here to get my car fixed after an unfortunate oil leak and they took my car in and fixed it. We hung outside their shop for ~6 hours (we were on a road trip with nowhere to go) and they treated us with kindness and hospitality. Would recommend this place to anyone. Also, since they offer racing fuel, lots of cool cars/motorcycles come by!”

Our family had an emergency situation, Fawad went absolutely above and beyond to help us, and only thanks to his assistance and compassion were we able to help our grade school aged kiddo feel safe and secure as quickly as we did. He arrived in a fraction of the time that Roadside Assistance had quoted, which as a parent I appreciated so much because my first goal was to help my child/get home as quickly as possible <3 He reached out via phone while on his way so that we could confirm our location, this was so appreciated. Our specific roadside assistance need ended up being different than we'd thought, and Fawad was patient and did not even for a moment make us feel bad about the confusion (even though it added more time to his service call with us). “I brought in my '87 4runner after taking it to several shops regarding an electrical issue. I'd spent about $1600 (and a weekend trying to debug it myself) tracking down the issue and paying these other shops for no real results. The truck still died overnight, the rear window worked intermittently, the brand new radiator was leaking, etc. These guys charged me less than half that, and even fixed some other odds and ends as well. They gave me an inspection, told me exactly what circuit the drain was in, found what was causing the issue with the rear window, and gave fairly detailed explanations of further work that could be done. In my opinion, these guys are super affordable, honest, and quick. It's hard to find that in a mechanic these days.”
