“My work truck (semi pulling a set of doubles) became unsafe to operate somewhere between Hood River and The Dalles, and I needed a tow back to Portland. My dispatcher called Gerlock and told them what was going on. So Ian brought the heavy tow truck out and told me that he was hooking up to it and towing the whole thing at once. I was impressed because that made one heck of a long and heavy combination. Ian was very professional, knowledgable, and friendly. He explained everything he was doing in order to put my mind at ease because I had never been towed in a commercial vehicle before. The whole process from start to finish took some time, which is to be expected with this big of a set up. Plus there was a breakdown in communication on my end I think, which lead to Ian having to have his coworker, Larry, bring some more air lines out to us. Larry left his dinner and drove them out to us lickity-split and before I knew it, we were ready to get rolling on down the road. Ian was very thorough and dilligent, towing me back to my truck shop with no issues or damage. Thanks Ian and Larry, for making my first commercial tow a pleasant one, and turning my bad day into a good experience.”

“I thought my transmission was shot and pretty much I would be giving my car away for parts for a few hundred dollars. Not worth fixing.They diagnosed it...pretty minor repair and not expensive! They could have tried to screw me ( said I was in need of a total rebuild or whatever) and I would have believed what they said. THESE GUYS were HONEST! Very difficult to find now days! I will be going back to them for all my repair needs in the future...absolutely stand up guys !”

“Amazing support and customer service, I cannot recommend Forward Towing enough! Our family had an emergency situation, Fawad went absolutely above and beyond to help us, and only thanks to his assistance and compassion were we able to help our grade school aged kiddo feel safe and secure as quickly as we did. He arrived in a fraction of the time that Roadside Assistance had quoted, which as a parent I appreciated so much because my first goal was to help my child/get home as quickly as possible <3 He reached out via phone while on his way so that we could confirm our location, this was so appreciated. Our specific roadside assistance need ended up being different than we'd thought, and Fawad was patient and did not even for a moment make us feel bad about the confusion (even though it added more time to his service call with us). Our family ended this unexpected adventure being reminded that there really are kind and caring people in this world-- Fawad, we appreciate you!!”

I have asked other companies in the Portland area and they would take on average around 45 minutes to 1hr to be at the car to tow. His price is also competitive with others.”
