We had a great conversation and he let me know about the country store and this wonderful raffle they would be holding this next week, where someone would be winning a beautiful quilt. I love this community and the sweet small town feels here. I've came in before and got a platter of chicken before for my grandma and everyone has always been so friendly. It was such a nice reminder to myself the other day that life isn't all too crazy these days, it was nice to feel a bit at ease here. Definitely a great stop if you're looking for some good conversation and a break from the road.”
