“This is a great gas station. Staff has always been nice except for one time. The employee was a very very large man who just seemed to be miserable. He did not want to be there and didn't keep his unhappiness to himself. I usually pump my own gas now so I will be fine avoiding him. :)”
“JOY went out of her way to make my experience positive, quick and as stress-free as possible with a lot of kindness, and that's the kind of thing that can turn a really hard day around. BEST SERVICE I have ever received at a gas station inside and out! I am from the Portland area and have been in Roseburg for a family emergency, which has been very stressful. My mom ran out of gas on the off-ramp to GV, so I ran to the Chev in 100° heat. Joy didn't know what I was going through, she was just doing her job with excellence. What a tremendous standard to set for anyone in any line of work. I really hope the manager/owner reads this, because not only do I want to recognize Joy's above-and-beyond customer service, but also compliment the way this station is operated.
The gas station attendant who helped us fuel up when we returned with the gallon tank was exceptional (I'll go back for his name, then edit this review). He came immediately out and was so professional, efficient and friendly, and while the car was filling up, he gave my elderly mother a bottle of cold water and treated her with so much more compassion and respect than seniors get these days. That meant so much, especially when we've been going through a difficult time.
My parents have always gone to Chevron for gas. I'll admit I've gone to the best price or closest station. NOT anymore! Whenever I'm here, I will only get gas at the Chevron on Garden Valley. They are worth it. I highly, highly recommend you do too! THANK YOU JOY!”

“The bathrooms were very clean, and there were multiple stalls. Everything was stocked, and the people (I appreciate it when two or more people are staffed for safety and service) behind the counter were friendly and helpful. The chicken was already made up, and they were fast to get us back on the road. Easy access on and off the highway. Although we didn't get anything aside from the chicken, they were well stocked on just about every convenience store snack and beverage, including some healthier options (e. g. chobani yogurts), and a selection of basic personal care items. I was relieved to have such a nice place to stop as we headed back to the airport with our four children.”

“Coming up to the doors this morning to get a cup of coffee this Thanksgiving and they have classic rock playing sofly on the radio, the front doors open and I am greeted with a smile and a "good morning!" After having a terrible night and having a not so good morning myself from the previous 2 gas stations that had some (we will call them Bill+Ted. They just went on a great adventure out back if you catch my drift) braws working with garbage metal on the radio. Yup that was my morning until I had it all changed just by a kind hello. Thank you so much for making what I thought was going to be a bad/sad morning into a good one. 5+ stars”

“The attendance here are very professional and they follow directions well. As well as pointing out anything that may be a problem. I only feel my gas tank once a month and two of the workers there have been there for as long as I can remember that makes it nice because then they remember exactly what you want.”

“Easy enough entry to gas pumps. In Oregon, so unsure if you are supposed to pump your own gas, but I did. Upon exiting I was unsure if I could turn left so I turned right and made another stop. Gas price was cheaper than my home state, but not by much.”
“AWESOME butcher shop with great prices. Always greeted with a smile and good humor walking in the door. They are also quick and efficient, I am hardly there long enough to crack two jokes before we are done and I'm out the door. Great place, they also will butcher home livestock and game meats too. “After stopping by the Ferrell gas depot in Roseburg a couple of times and having the person working there be so extremely helpful, I decided to make them my go to propane delivery. They were able to give me a quick appointment and the gentleman filling my tank was very nice. If there is one thing I would ask them to change it would be to give the customer a call when they are on their way to the residence.”
