“I placed a pick up order and went inside for a few things. I really like this Safeway. It's a decent sized store without being huge or overwhelming. The employees I interacted with were nice and helpful. Even in the produce section with 3 people working I walked around freely checking out the fruits and veges and I didn't get any of that 'you're in my way' vibe which is so so nice. The fruits and veges looked amazing by the way. It was my first visit to this Safeway and I will returning for all the above reasons and because it's relatively close to my house.”
“I went here to get some vaccines and I needed to pay out of pocket. The tech that helped me was Julian and he was very patient and tried to get me some coupons to help me save some money, which I didn’t know there was coupons for this stuff. My case was a bit unusual so I had a lot of questions and he made sure to ask and double check things when he wasn’t sure. Stellar customer service and hope he gets some recognition for his work. Will always go to a Walgreens pharmacy from now on.”

They take the time to explain medications clearly, answer questions without attitude, and treat you like a human being instead of a transaction.
Prescriptions are filled accurately and efficiently, communication is solid, and if there’s ever an issue, they handle it with professionalism and follow-through (a rare art these days). The atmosphere is calm, organized, and welcoming — which matters more than people realize when you’re dealing with health stuff.
Trustworthy, reliable, and refreshingly humane. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”
“Excellent Pharmacy. Top two people there are Dr Matthew and Dr Kelly. They are so thourough and knowledgeable. They fix every problem I've had. They've always taken care of any prescription issues I've had really quickly and have called the Dr to change a medication that would have been very bad for me. I feel safe in the hands of them. There are a couple of people who aren't my favorite, a lady with light brownish blonde hair in late 40's early 50's and a newer pharmacist who is quite rude and really inappropriate in how she talks to other employees in the presence of customers. But for me I just don't deal with her and everything goes wonderfully. Thank you guys for all the work you put out for your customers and doing it so kindly and well.”

“Wow! New Employees are beyond great! I can't see enough about how much these three employees changed the entire dynamic of the West Salem store! Store was clean, employees were attentive. The gentleman that does the pickup orders is super quick and efficient. I had such a problem with the app again glitching out during my online shopping experience for my pickup order it took me almost an hour to complete it and I was so frustrated. Then at the end the screen said it would be ready the following day rather than what it had said the entire time I was showing which was 30 minutes or less and I was quite frustrated because I needed the items same day and it was evening time but I would not have completed the order had I known I needed to wait till the next day. So when I went into the store I asked if there was any possibility they could make an exception in that I would be willing to help shop for the items if needed and lo and behold I look over and the gentleman had already shopped and bagged my entire order within 10 minutes of placing it. I was so impressed and so thankful. I also had a return of a Christmas gift that I had bought for my daughter that was a substitution on an order that she did not really care for and time got away from me and I was a few days over the 30 day return policy so I asked the manager if there was any way that they could make an exception cuz I go in there a lot and I would be happy with the store credit and she said yes long as you have your license we can do that and was so quick and efficient and friendly. I had had such a hard day and they just made it so much better by making everything work out so easily! I also purchased a few Valentine's gifts for my daughter while I was there and the prices were great everything was 20% off and the gentleman that was working the checkout was friendly and quick and I was just really pleased with all the new employees there, it was a completely different shopping experience. Thank you so much for the superb customer service and your friendly smiles!”
