Safeway, located at 37601 Hwy 26 in Sandy, OR, offers a convenient and friendly grocery shopping experience. The store features a diverse selection of products, including a bakery known for customizable cakes and cupcakes, a deli with made-to-order party trays, and a well-stocked pharmacy. Customers appreciate the option to place bakery orders online with the Order Ahead service, as well as grocery delivery and DriveUp & Go™ services for added convenience. While many shoppers enjoy the store’s offerings, experiences can vary. Some have expressed concerns about the freshness of items in the bakery and produce sections. Complaints include overbaked products, bruised produce, and issues with meat quality. Despite these concerns, the bakery still has loyal customers who love the warm, fresh bread and the delicious options available at the deli. The pharmacy is highlighted as a fantastic service, helping customers stay organized with their prescriptions. The store is popular due to its good sales, especially when using the app, and its dog-friendly atmosphere, where staff are known to greet furry friends warmly. Overall, Safeway is a well-liked neighborhood grocery store, but shoppers should be mindful of peak hours and product quality.
