“5 star experience for my daughter’s FIRST SKATEBOARD! Devon was fantastic. 10/10 dude. It was late & he stayed past closing to help us. A lot of great information and got to commiserate over the good ol’ days of the 90’s. Educated us on the board & fully assembled it for us (very knowledgeable, very patient, very friendly and not in a weird way). Even gave my kid a free lesson at the end! Place has 5 stars for a reason. We’re just in town visiting but whether you’re new to Portland or a skate regular this is your one stop shop! Thanks so much Devon! Keep on keepin on man ?”
“We live down south, but somehow my husband managed to come across this store when searching for a pair of very hard to find Ugg Slippers for our teenage daughter. We placed an order for the last available pair, which just happened to be in her size (we hope). We were going to pay extra for 3-day shipping, but then couldn’t find the option when checking out. So we went ahead and placed the order hoping for the best that they would arrive in time for Christmas. The next day Andrew called to say that they would definitely arrive after Christmas, if that is what he had ordered them for. Then offered 3-day shipping if we would like for them to arrive in time for Christmas. We happily paid the extra cost to expedite to make sure they got to us in time and they were even delivered a day early! From what I gather, this store is more for seat covers. But I highly recommend this store! Great service!”

“I came in 3/13 a Wednesday afternoon to a busy store and was immediately greeted. The guy that was there was busy with another customer but still acknowledged me and asked what I was looking for. He found what I was looking for (cool gray 11s) but unfortunately they were out of my current budget. I was indecisive and he could see that so he asked me what I was in to and showed me some cheaper options. I left with some red cement 4s, my first pair of 4s and I couldn't be happier. Prices are a bit high here but that's understandable, I'm sure washington square rent isn't cheap plus I would rather support local business so it's worth it to me, thank you!!!”

Leslie was able to find the shoe and have it shipped to our home, and took back the other size, even though I didn't have the receipt anymore. “I had such a a great experience here. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and Esther was a fairy godmother for dance shoes. She was very helpful with finding the right size and fit for me. I'm just starting out with dancing and she helped me find a few options. Would highly recommend for any dance shoes , especially if you want a friendly guide to finding a great pair of shoes!”

“My boyfriend and I have stopped by a few times while browsing Washington Square Mall and had a good experience here. They had a good selection of equipment and clothing from which to choose. I like the quality of the jackets and footwear; however, all of it can be a bit pricey. There are more affordable options hidden in the store, though, and if you're lucky, you can stumble across a sale. First time I was here, I ended up really eyeing some booties they had. Unfortunately, they did not have my size of the color I wanted in stock at store. The sales associate was pretty friendly and informed me that I could get the shoes in a couple days by ordering through the store's iPad and she could get me free two-day shipping for the same price, which I did. My boots came in three days, but they're so worth it, they're comfortable and I'll be walking around town in them for sure. I came back to get my partner the same boots for Christmas a couple of months later and they let me go through the same process.”

“I drove almost 2 hours just to come to Boot Barn because there are none where I live and it was extremely worth the trip! We got there later than expected and they didn’t rush us out even though we tried to hurry. All of the people who work there are so amazing, especially this one girl I forget her name but she has black hair and darker skin. She helped me find the boots I was looking for. She even helped me pull boots off my feet because I have a back injury and can’t bend well? I really wish I remembered her name she deserves a raise. I definitely will be going back”
“Took in a pair of my oldest boots for a resole and some repair work. The RW factory did not perform part of the service the first time requiring me to send them back leading to several months without my boots. The second time the factory made a mistake with my boots but, before I could even come in and see the mistake the store manager called me to inform me of the situation and immediately offered up several actionable solutions to the problem at hand.I’ve had my boots worked on before and never encountered so many problems and while that was frustrating and would like the note that RW needs to improve craftsmanship and attention to detail at the factory, I cannot fault this store or it’s staff for that. They were very upfront with the issue and completely proactive about finding a solution that worked for me. They could not have been more kind about the experience.Even though this store is out of the way for me I will definitely return again when it’s time to invest in a new pair of boots.”
