We stopped in during the early morning on a recent road trip and found the store open, clean, and fully operational. Overnight shifts are never easy, and it was clear the employee inside was actively working — cleaning, stocking, and maintaining the store. In fact, we appreciated seeing someone vacuuming and keeping the area tidy rather than standing idle. That shows attention to detail and pride in the location. When we approached the counter, the transaction was handled efficiently. Not overly chatty — but polite, straightforward, and professional. Some customers prefer quick, no-nonsense service, especially at 3:00 in the morning. We certainly did. We got what we needed and were back on the road without delay. The coffee station was stocked, the store felt safe and monitored, and the experience was smooth. It’s important to remember that overnight employees often work alone and are responsible for cleaning, stocking, assisting customers, and maintaining security all at the same time. That’s a lot for one person — and it deserves understanding, not criticism. We also want to echo something positive: the outside gas attendant during morning hours was excellent — friendly and helpful. It’s clear that this location has team members who care. Every business can have an off moment, but based on our experience, this station is open, staffed, maintained, and doing exactly what a late-night traveler needs it to do. We’ll gladly stop here again on future trips.”
