“I recently shopped at the Fuego store and I am extremely impressed with the selection and service that I received. The store is well-organized and has a great selection of clothing and accessories for men, women, and children. The staff was friendly and helpful and I was able to find everything I needed quickly and easily. The prices were also very reasonable and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items that I purchased. I would definitely recommend Fuego store to anyone looking for great quality clothing and accessories at reasonable prices. I love all the hello kitty stuff”

“The staff here is always super sweet - The last time I visited, the person at the register overheard my friend and I talking about Quagsire. They asked if we were fans and went to the back to bring out a Quagsire plush that wasn’t on display yet. This made my day and I really appreciate the staff here always going the extra mile :D cutest selection of trinkets and collectibles eva!!”

“Super cool little shop, very Portland. All kinds of stuff for visitors as well as locals. I think the huge draw here is the massive selection of very unique stickers and patches. This was my favorite gift shop on Mississippi Ave, such a cool selection. Highly recommend!”

“Love this little place inside Cargo! There always seems to be something new in stock; it makes it hard not to buy at least one new item everytime I pop in. They have the best selection of washi tapes from Japan too...I've already lost count of the number of tapes I've gotten here. My latest purchases also include some adorable stationery, rubber stamps, and a Russian vintage pin. If you appreciate cute, delightful, interesting knickknacks you're bound to find some treasures here.”

“This is my go-to store for everything gift or art oriented. Stocking Stuffers for the extra cool people in your life! They're open Monday through Friday - but only until 5pm.The Art for sale is from various local Artists and Craft Makers. They have very nice hand carved walking sticks for the avid hikers. Staffs are what some look like.Magnets, coffee cups, office knick knacks that will make you laugh, inspire you, remind you of your childhood. Dolly Parton with a Rainbow ? Coffee Cup is what I use, got from them.I love their t-shirts - If you grew up in #PDX or #Milwaukie - they got Milwaukie Wrestling t-Shirts! Jimmy Snuka - Playboy Buddy Rose - Jesse Ventura - others - on a T-shirt that says "Milwaukie Wrestling".You can't find a better hang than this. This place is remarkable and the people running it are so fun to talk with. You can ask them anything Milwaukie - if they don't know the answer - I will be surprised. Yet - I bet they know someone who does. Probably do a reach out, hey this place deserves a 11 on a scale of 10.”

“Stopped by here on Westend Wednesday, however I have run past this store numerous times (it just isn't open at 6a morning). I even won a neat print by participation in the spin wheelie activity! Super friendly team. Lots of neat giftable things for the holidays ranging from candles, prints, magnets, etc. Def worth checking out!”

“Such cute local art and gifts. I agree with the other review that you don't need to go to Target. My favorite items I got were the local spicy chili oil that I discovered earlier at the Portland Bazaar and the rainbow geode soaps from a local creator”

“I love how knowledgeable the staff are about the origins of their products. It adds a professionalism to the selling of oddities that makes it possible for everyday people to appreciate the interesting collections they have. Their jewelry selection is my favorite. Not cheap though, it will have to be a forever prized piece if you get jewelry from here. Also carnivorous plants!”

“I love this shop. . . one slightly annoying caveat. . . they should update their website to say they are closed on Sunday. I literally planned my afternoon and was heading there as a treat to myself and got there to see the closed for inventory. Luckily caught the streetcar I was just on to get back home to avoid having to wait for next transit option. I totally get they need to close on Sundays (but their website says they are open). . .just a detail. Otherwise, this is a fantastic place to explore with all sorts of cool stuff and really nice staff.”

“IMMEDIATE disclosure. If anyone would like to buy me cute gifts or cards, this place is loaded with them. I've followed Crafty Wonderland on Instagram since they opened. And yet I've never been. Until today. I probably saved quite a bit of money by doing that too!! The items they sell are made by small local artists and businesses, so they're not cheap. They're worth buying and supporting our local community. Service was as great as everything else was. We had a good laugh as we were checking out. I LOVE this place and definitely will return.”

“This is a great place to shop for gifts from different countries as the name of the shop suggests. They have a good collection of gift items at reasonable price. The shop attendant was nice and helpful. The shop doesn’t have a good selection for people looking for items from Portland. The restrooms are in the mall area and plenty of parking for people visiting the mall. The shop is located at the first floor of the mall.”

“I’m loving this shop! Beautifully adorned and stocked with plants, books, oracle/tarot decks, handcrafted goodies, jewelry, locally-made, and so much more. I enjoyed meeting and talking with the owner, she clearly loves her shop so much, she clearly pours her soul into finding the best stuff.I went with a friend to the new moon event they had in the event space connected to the storefront. There were fabulous vendors, including a table where you could create your own manifestation jar! Yummy food and the tarot reader was incredible! Can’t wait to go back next month!Highly recommend!”

“I visit this shop every single time I visit the Hawthorne neighborhood and it’s always a joy to see Yeshi (the owner)! I love conversing with her and I feel at home here. The merchandise is always so fun to look at and if you are looking for a business to support I would suggest this one!!”

“Interesting little shop in a cool neighborhood. They have lots of tiny bottles of perfume to test out. It’s pretty cool, I would say to stop by if you’re in the area but not for a whole trip.”

4.5 Superb24 Reviews

“Haven't shopped on Hawthorne for a bit and just found this gem. The handmade necklaces in the window caught my eye, on our way to breakfast. Had to stop in and take a look on the way back to the car. Beside the delightful owner's authentic kindness, who hand makes his items, this was an easy sale. Not only that, I'll be back for holiday and birthday and special occasion gifts. This place has a great vibe, very nice assortment of lovely Tibetan fare, highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I love this store! It has cute gifts, cards, wrapping paper, funny kitchen towels, and they offer a gift wrapping service. They have updated the inside of the store, too.”

4.4 Superb14 Reviews

“This is an adorable and small, locally owned shop selling clothes, trinkets, and anything else you might think of from Tibet. The owner was super sweet and he runs the entire store by himself, a one man show, so he makes it a point to try to be there the entire duration for customers. He was happy to share about himself, his background, where his goods came from and other aspects of the store without pressuring us to buy something. I regret not buying anything and will be back to support him next time I visit Portland! Thank you for having us.”

“Came here on purpose and was not disappointed. The corner of the store is full of jackets, sweaters, hats made by them. The rest of the store features items made by local manufacturers. All items are clearly of very high quality. Great place to shop”

“The entrance fee is $21.95 per adult with discounts if you're a student or senior with a valid ID. They also offer a yearly membership if you expect to come often. There is dedicated pay to park spaces as well as a free Washington park shuttle bus available to get there. I was expecting a little more historical Japanese information, but there wasn't much. There were no bonzai trees as it may have been too cold. (We came here January 2024) There was a little pond of some koi fish, but I expected a lot more. The water was also pretty murky. I think it would've been nicer if we came during cherry blossom season. Overall a nice garden if you're looking for something to do in the area, but go on a nice clear day.”

“Always something new with them. I would choose them then legacy gift shop. So much nice and cool things the price for me seems right for what they are and the quality of it”
