“This was a really cute art collective I stumbled upon on the way to lunch! It reminded me of similar places in Asheville, NC. Sadly they don’t have what I collect at the moment (bats), but now that they’re on my radar, I’ll be back later in the year. I did end up buying a half priced candle that smells wonderful. The little monsters they’ve got right now are too cute!”

“Very neat shop with a ton of things that an impulsive purchaser like myself always has a hard time not scooping up into my hand basket! It’s a great place to find a lil something fun, practical, or a mix of the two. I mostly get gifts for others here, but sometimes I also treat myself. They’ve got shirts, decor, stationary, wrapping paper, plushies, toys, socks, kitchen gadgets, books, jewelry, and more. It’s likely they’ll have at least one thing you or someone you know really likes. At the very least, it’s a fun browse!”

“An absolute gem in downtown Portland. A giftshop with work from local artists and small businesses that is also a record label. You can listen to all the local artists before you buy any records and there are a few worth exploring. In addition, the staff gave me some really good advice about activities in and around Portland. I returned several times. Their location at the airport also has local microbrews at decent prices (that the dowtown location did not have).”

More importantly, the service was phenomenal. I didn't ask the name of the person that helped me, but they were SO nice and helpful and it made me want to bring the whole coven.”

“Made Here – Northwest Portland

Made Here is the kind of store you bring out of town guests to and then end up shopping for yourself. It feels like the epitome of the Pacific Northwest. Thoughtful, locally made, quality driven, rooted in place, and built on real human connection.

What stands out most is not just the product selection, but the storytelling. Every item has context. You learn who made it, why it exists, where the materials come from, and what inspired it. It is not just a name and a price tag. It feels like a conversation with the maker. That alone makes it different from most gift shops.

The space itself reinforces that feeling. Big windows, wood displays, Oregon and Portland flags overhead, an industrial but warm layout. It feels proud of where it is and what it represents. There is no forced trendiness. It just feels authentically Portland.

You can find North Drinkware mountain tumblers featuring Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens and Crater Lake, Microjoy functional mushroom gummies, Spiel chocolate bars in flavors like matcha and earl grey, Three Piece Candle Co candles with Pacific Northwest inspired scents, Red Mortar chili crunch in flavors like Garlic Love and Coffee Break, Suzie’s Lavender body care, Rowen Forest apothecary products, Eva and James Junction Oregon and Portland stickers, flannel jackets and denim staples, locally made hot sauces and small batch condiments, Clean Wit soaps and bath goods, sunglasses displayed like a boutique gallery, ceramics, handbags, art prints, and beautifully designed greeting cards.

It is perfect for host gifts, holiday gifts, corporate gifting that feels intentional, or when you need something thoughtful but not cheesy. Even if you live here, it makes you proud of what is being made in Oregon.”
