They have all of your basic staples and also a good variety of foods,cheeses,vitamins, drinks, snacks, pet food and cleaning supplies. The prices are very affordable. The people who work there always say Hi and are friendly and efficient.”

    “One of the ONLY places in the area to get GOOD electronics! A decent selection of great electronics, videogames and a bunch of blu-ray 📀 movies. The store is clean, shelves stay stocked and their California Rolls at the deli are surprisingly really good. I definitely recommend this Fred Meyer store for anyone in the Tillamook area and even out further (Nehalem and Manzanita).”

    “I took a ring in for repair. A diamond that fell out my memory ring, that had diamonds from my grandmother and mother's wedding rings. Betty was terrific in collecting all the info and handling this. The jeweler did a perfect job of restoring the diamond and building up the setting holding the stones. I am so pleased! Would not hesitate to go back....”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
