“Michael was truly such a kind person. Lately, we've been needing to replace the water heater in our restaurant, and finding the right-sized heater has been quite challenging. Even though we couldn't find the perfect product, he went out of his way to assist us and explained everything at our level of understanding. We're incredibly grateful for his help.”

“WOW! Portland Installation is absolutely amazing. They were able to get us scheduled same day. Because of previous owners our install was a bit complicated, and Portland Installation managed it like pros!”

“Great to have a full service center with replacement parts to keep my old Traeger grill up and running, so close to home. The gentleman behind the counter was most helpful, checked the box for complete parts, and gave me a demonstration of fuse replacement, which was not clear from the Traeger parts box , even though it included a replacement fuse. Great service!”

“Luke Brody is one of the most amazing humans we have ever encountered on a renovation team: wow, this company stands out.We renovated a home in Portland from out of state over FT during the pandemic in 2020-2021... these days were difficult for most of us, but I never knew it when I spoke with Luke. He always had our family's needs in mind and went to great lengths to educate, advocate, and ease the appliance search process for an LGBTQI+ family with multi-racial children moving to a new place. We always felt welcome and attended to. He is such a hard worker and never once left us hanging. We only have rave experiences to report from the hundreds of emails/calls/communications this company sent our way. I certainly hope Luke is on his way to owning the place by now: he certainly deserves it. Wherever you are searching, no need to keep it up- go ahead and contact Eastbank. We feel sure your life will be the better from the interactions.”

“Aarons over all, I have not hated. Ben at the Milwaukie store goes above and beyond to correct all the problems that other stores and online services have offered. Much appreciated. Thanks Ben!! You deserve a promotion for real! Hopefully you train all the others. Great customer service!!!!”

“This is the best customer service I have ever had. Kind and knowledgeable staff went above and beyond when answering my questions. I bought a hot tub in 10 minutes. No analysis paralysis necessary which surprised me as I have no idea about hot tubs, did no research, and frankly, think they're ugly. I had some criteria as follows: 1. I didn't want the plastic tie-dye 1970's porn aesthetic. 2. I wanted a tub that I could use saline rather than chlorine. 3. My husband is 6'4" and it had to be big enough to have is shoulders submerged when sitting and the option to fully his legs sitting or floating. 4. Low monthly operating costs. 5. No pad necessary. 6. I was on a budget. We got a Bullfrog which is going to cost us 13/month to keep heated 7 days a week. Waiting for the delivery so no feedback or photos but I am going back to have them convert my wood burning fireplace to gas.”

“Your basic Home Depot conveniently located right off the Murrayhill exit on 26, I stop by this location when I'm in the area. It has all the typical departments and layout but somehow it seems easier to get around, not as massive and overwhelming. The store is well organized, shelves are stocked and they typically have what I'm looking for whether that's ant killer, cleaning products, lighting, garden supplies or hardware. And they always have seasonal items like Christmas, BBQ, and spring-fall, annuals, perrenials, shrubs and trees. Plus garden soil, planters and supplies. The indoor houseplant section is also nice and they always have a varied selection. Succulents, bromeliad, pathos, ferns, snake plants, cactus - I've bought it all! My entire plant selection is thriving and I've only had one plant that didn't do well and they exchanged it no questions asked. Most stores don't reimburse you for plants because they have no idea if it was cared for properly. The fact that they gave me a new pothos made me a happy and return customer.”

“This is my go-to home improvement store in the Portland area. Over the last 5-6 years, some of their staff have been most helpful to me. I usually find the prices, variety of products, and product availability to be right for my needs. The location of this store could hardly be better, near 2 freeways, and NOT on a busy street. More than adequate parking, and with a super convenient entrance for loading up large items such as lumber. I have started to beef up my tool box with some better quality tools, and I'm quite happy with recent purchases, especially non-powered tools, for example, combining Craftsman and Kobalt to come up with a robust but compact deep socket ratchet solution. I am glad now that they have brought back cleaning vinegar after a nearly 2 year spell of not carrying it in stores, but... it's not always in stock![Update 9/1/2022] It's still hard to come by the cleaning vinegar, but other than that, I generally find what I need here in order to maintain a fair number of properties.[Update 6/28/2023] Great staff... friendly, welcoming, helpful, generally very available. During the day time hours, they have the most staff on hand, and that is when it is the easiest to get help.[Update 11/27/2023] Even with Christmas goods filling the aisles, I'm still finding everything I need for daily work.[Update 2/14/2023] It's handy to have a store like this one where I know the departmental layout fairly well. I came in last night with only 5 minutes before closing, found the dimmer switch I needed, and paid for it in time. On top of that, the checkout clerk handed me my glove that I had dropped back in the lighting aisle. Crisis averted. Kudos!!”

“David at the Pro Extra was excellent, he was very patient and helped me find the correct drill for my needs. He searched prices and found a good deal. He also signed me up for a rewards account. He is the definition of perfect customer service. GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!!!!”

“I’ve been going to Hot Spot for several years. Tyler and Cedric are knowledgeable and always happy to help. When I went in a few weeks ago, I was amazed at all the improvements they’ve made to the store. Highly recommended shop!”

“Standard Appliance Service technician, Bill, did a great job with testing the diagnostics of my oven. I have an older oven so he really spent a long time with his testing. I appreciated his time and effort. I highly recommend standard appliance service to diagnose issues with your appliances. Bill took the time to test it and explain exactly what he was doing. I was very appreciative because the first company that came out was not as thorough. Thank you, Ann”

“Google saves the day! Typically the employee responsible of that specific aisle, does not know the answer or have a clue of what I am looking for or trying to find. Google and YouTube works great for figuring out how to install or what part I need. The best thing Home Depot has done in the last year is update their app. Now when the app opens it locates what store you're in and tells you what aisle the product is located. GREAT! I guess this is because the associates do not know where things are? The bad part of this store is the over tilt to self check out. The Military discount codle is not on the app so you do not need to verify with an employee. Pretty soon, we will only have two workers in the store...LMAO”

“Today I was looking for ideas to cover a planter-tub pond on my deck that would keep raccoons out of it at night so they don't eat the fish. I wish I had gotten the name of the very helpful gentleman who walked the store aisles brainstorming ideas for me. He came up with several good ideas and I ultimately went with the pre-cut beveled wood round (that most people would buy to make a side table). It was perfect. This man was extremely helpful, generous with his time, and clearly has excellent problem-solving skills. Yay for me!! Thank you, thank you!!”

“This is a good location. Their audio and camera / lens selection is lacking but I go to jantzen beach for the magnolia and Cascade station for lenses. This is an excellent local option for everything else. Great computer and accessory selection”

“I would rate our experience in the showroom 5 stars. We have done two remodels, and both times the staff was helpful, thorough, and professional. However, our experience with follow up customer service was abysmal. We had an expensive light fixture appear to burn out after just over a year. It had a five year warranty. At first we were told it would be replaced, but that it was backordered and it would take about a month. After multiple attempts to get information we were told it would be another couple of months. When we again tried to get updated information three months later, we were told it would delayed at least a couple more months. We asked for a refund or credit and we were told we were not entitled to a refund or credit. We asked to talk to a decision maker and was told someone would get back to us. It’s been three weeks and we have heard nothing.6/1/2023 Ferguson went out of its way to rectify our issues, and has been very flexible and responsive going forward.”

“The Home Depot consistently impresses me with its extensive range of home improvement products. Navigating through the well-organized store is a breeze, and the knowledgeable staff adds value to the shopping experience. Their expertise helps customers make informed decisions, especially when undertaking DIY projects.I appreciate the store's commitment to quality, offering reliable products for various home improvement needs. While the layout contributes to easy browsing, occasional lengthy checkout lines can be a downside during peak hours. Despite this, the overall positive aspects, including the helpful staff and comprehensive inventory, make The Home Depot a reliable choice for anyone looking to enhance their living spaces. It has become my preferred destination for all things home improvement, reflecting the store's reputation for quality and customer service.”

“I recently moved into Tualatin which is close to the Sherwood Home depot. I am a single woman who at times like these could really use a man in my life. Well without one, I went into the store today and was greeted by a man in the garden center that walked me all the way into the store to show me where the things I was looking for were. He spent a good 15 minutes with me explaining how to do things and teaching me. Satisfactory service. I thought all of my questions were answered when I saw a woman working there and asked her a few questions... Her name was Heidi. What a huge asset Heidi is to the store there. She gave me some wonderful ideas and showed me all around the store for different possibilities on things I can create myself. Heidi was very informative and I felt excited when I left there and not overwhelmed. Thank you to all the staff members; Thank you again for making my visit to the Home Depot today a wonderful experience.”

“So far in the past few months, I have bought from them, my stove, refrigerator, washer, and dryer, and dishwasher. Not only did they give me the best service, but they also gave me the best prices. Delivery was amazing. I would not go anywhere else.”

“Always a great place to come to for great quality furniture, electronics, and appliances. They have everything from fridges to washers and dryers to sofa lovelseats hideaway bed couches computers xbox's playstations, etc. The best part is that they let you lease it if you can't buy it outright. I've always had the best customer service when coming here too. Always trying to help me out when I need it. Highly recommend getting the aarons club with any purchase because no matter how many agreements you start it covers them all for only $9.99 a Month! Great deal!”

“Popped in here to pick up an online order. I had to use the locker system (new to me) and Tessa at the customer service desk was so kind and helped me out. I never have a problem coming here. A few years ago my son got hurt at this location (he was okay!) and Home Depot went above and beyond for my family then and so I always come back to this location and they never disappoint. Over the past months employees from different departments have been the best helpers, even if they are unsure ( or new) we figure it out together. I will try to update this more regularly since I feel like it is unique for a home improvement store to feel homey.”
