“Really great experience buying a stove here. Super easy, no pressure and extremely fast delivery. And when apart broke after two months (unforeseeable issue) And they weren’t able to get a replacement part, I was able to exchange it for another stove.”

“The experience in our original purchase of all new kitchen appliances was excellent. I had an issue several years later and asked for some help and they went way out of their way to help. Polite, fun, very professional.”

“Trevor was a great help to us as we were wanting to convert a second fireplace to gas. We had a huge selection to choose from and decided to match the insert to the original conversion done to our first fireplace. We got a quote promptly and were able to schedule the work in a short timeframe. I really love the gas fireplace since we do not have to carry wood into the house and with the remote, both start up and shut off is easy.”

“I was just in the store today! I have an older new home sewing machine! I needed someone to help me thread and do the bobbin! I’m not sewing savvy. Tully helped me with two other people who helped as well. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and supportive of my needs. I thank you all for your time. I will definitely tell others about your business. The store was excellent. Lots of great stuff to see and buy. I will be back! Thanks again!!! Shirley Jasper”

“It's been a few years from when we purchased our fireplace insert from these guys, and it has become increasingly clear to me that I owe them a little public praise. We were new to propane inserts when we began shopping around but even in the beginning, these guys were surprisingly patient, and deeply knowedgable. Many of the other places I called was a typical modern corporate type experience where the phone rep had little to no engagement in the conversation, on top of not even being able to answer basic brochure level questions. Derek and Andy are true brand ambassadors in my opinion, and have been consistent in delivering after-the-sale customer and product support. In a world full of mega corporation atrocious customer experiences, these guys are absolute stand-out stars. We are beyond thankful to have chosen to work with them during our relocation.”

“I came for stove parts, but ended up with a bonus trip to a museum! Rare in Portland now, a place where you can hear stories, see historical hardware and experience the thrill of the unexpected find. Improvisation, intelligence, humor and folly rolled into one. Don't miss this place if you have a little time to spare. Oh yeah, and I got what I needed to fix my woodstove as well!!”

“We recently visited LANDA Northwest for the first time, and Ella did a terrific job getting our pressure washer squared away. Ella was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely easy to work with. She made the process smooth and straightforward, and we really appreciated the great customer service. We look forward to coming back to LANDA the next time we need service. Thanks again, Ella — we appreciate your help!”

“Stopped by Audio and had a great experience with Ross. I didn’t end up buying anything, but he still took a lot of time to help me understand what type of amplifier would work best for my speakers and pointed me in the right direction for my budget, even though it meant recommending options outside of their store. Super knowledgeable, honest, and clearly passionate about audio. I never felt pressured into buying anything. Really appreciated the advice and customer service.”

“I’ve been using Emerald for years. I have a rental home in Oregon and I’m out of state. Heather in service is professional and trustworthy. She explains in detail what needs to be done to the hot tub. I’ve spoking to one of their technicians, Aysis who is very professional as well. My tub is older and he goes the extra mile to keep it going. I highly recommend Emerald.”

“This place was amazing. George sold me a washer dryer set. They delivered it and took my old washer dryer with no issues. They said that it was way easier than they were expecting as I have a split lvl house and the laundry room is downstairs. My kids and I cleared the whole laundry room to make sure they had the room to get in and out with ease. The team was awesome! Thank you!”

“In August 2026 we ordered a small size apartment stove from DeWhitt Appliance and were very satisfied with the ordering process, the pick up and the overall quality of the stove. We had also purchased our washer and dryer in 2013 from them, and have had no problems with the appliances. Friendly and helpful staff. We'd go there again anytime.”

“Basco, is awesome and so is Joe at the outlet store. They worked with me to find the right firdge/freezer column set up at an excellent price and have gone above and beyond to ensure that I got all my parts and that install went okay. This is the forth time I have purchased appliances from them.”

“One of the better large appliance stores in the area. Google Maps has two locations for them. This is the one you want. They offer 3rd party extended warranties but we found it best to deal with the manufacturer for that. Adequate parking in their lot.”

“I wish there were more stars than just 5 for Standard TV and Appliance. I picked the wrong size appliance and through the whole process of dealing with the staff I was treated with the utmost grace and professionalism. I was granted permission to return the product even after scratching it up a bit in transit. But the evening before the scheduled pick-up a neighbor walking her dog stopped to chat. I felt obliged to tell her why there was a refrigerator on my front stoop and she asked if she could buy it from me. OF COURSE! And again, Linda in Customer Relations was understanding and polite as I cancelled the return while offering her best regards. Thank you Standard, you are the best!”

“We had a great experience purchasing 300 feet of pipe for our project. We drove in from Vancouver. I was great by Sam/ Derrick and luscious in the showroom. They jumped on the computer to find my order, that only took a second. I was greeted by Josh outside on the forklift, very nice gentleman, that help us load our few items in the rain ? with a smile on. I appreciate going into a place and getting taken care of in an orderly fashion. Thanks team Ferguson. You guys are the real deal. ?”

“we are delighted with the folks at GBS. Our custom cabinet was installed perfectly, workers are timely and very pleasant to work with. They sent a tech a few weeks later to install our glass door panels (purchased separately), and again the worker was timely, efficient, and extremely careful to protect everything. We would not hesitate to work with GBS again.”

“I came in with a list of products I wanted to see in person. There are several brands and a lot on display. Visit this show room if you’re not really sure what you want and need guidance. Otherwise there isn’t much to get out of it except to confirm the look and feel of your chosen products. Parking can be tricky.”

“The installers were extremely professional and did exceptional work. The fall down in the project was getting the materals to the house in time for the project. The information on the flooring delivery was suspect at best. All-in, job is complete and very happy with the workmanship.”

“Hands down the best place to get appliances in the PNW. I’ve worked exclusively with Basco since 2022 for my commercial and residential need. Their sales rep Rob, always hooks us up with great guidance. And their delivery teams have always been impeccable was great timing & communication. The prices are better than the big box stores and you get local white glove service.”

“Chris provided an excellent customer experience and was extremely knowledgeable about Sony products. What impressed me the most was his deep understanding of Sony’s history, technology, and product development. He was able to explain the background and evolution of Sony’s TVs in a way that was easy to understand and very interesting. Chris also did an excellent job comparing the different Sony TV models. He clearly explained the differences in picture quality, processing technology, display types, sound, features, and overall performance between each model. Rather than simply recommending the most expensive option, he took the time to explain the strengths and weaknesses of each TV and helped me understand which features were actually important. I really appreciated how patient and professional Chris was throughout the entire conversation. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and made sure I understood the differences before making a decision. His product knowledge gave me confidence that I was getting accurate and honest information. It is rare to find someone who has both strong product knowledge and excellent communication skills. Chris truly knows Sony products and knows how to explain them clearly to customers. His professionalism, helpfulness, and passion for the products made the experience much better. I highly recommend Chris to anyone who is looking for a Sony TV or wants to learn more about the differences between Sony’s various models. He is a great representative and an excellent example of what outstanding customer service should be.”

“I don't usually leave reviews but I just wanted to say Derek one of the workers in the lot that does carts has always been extremely helpful! He goes above and beyond! I take my grandma to shop here for her gardening supplies and he’s always been so helpful with assisting us with any questions or just offering help loading her car. Kind young man! This is our favorite Home Depot!”

“The guys at the tool rental center (I believe Walter and Barry) were so helpful and patient as we figured out how to navigate a DIY project. We rented both a truck and a trencher on short notice and they gave us a thorough walk-through of how to use the equipment, answered all our questions, and were patient and kind throughout!”
