“Love our Ace Hardware! There are a few regular employees and they’re always nice and helpful. As a woman, I am treated as though I know what I’m talking about or wanting, until I make it clear I don’t know something, which is refreshing. 😁 There have been a couple of high school kids they’ve hired over the years (both of whose names start with J - not going to list them by name because I don’t have permission, but if they read this they’ll know who they are 😉) who have been amazing! The male J ran around the store faster than I’ve seen any service worker move, and he knew his stuff! The female J, well, she just ran the place. 😂 One day I went in for paint and the kid behind the counter was new, and the older gentleman who was working that day didn’t know how to run the machines. She walked in, on her day off no less, to find something for a craft, and wound up helping me with my paint. Listen, what I’m saying is this store and their employees will get it done for you, if at all possible. They’re kind, laid back, and yet still service oriented. Ace in Veneta is the real deal. We could be at Lowe’s or Home Depot in less than 15 minutes, but why would we when we’ve got a great resource just down the street! We appreciate all they do!”
