“I inadvertently hit a massive pothole in Milwaukee, OR destroying my R front tire and severely bending the rim of my BMW 850. AAA towed me to Liberty Tire & Glass which fortunately was very close by. Being from out of town I was not familiar with this shop nor used them before. They found a replacement tire at a warehouse on the Portland waterfront and had it expedited to the shop for me in a couple of hours. While they were not equipped to straighten the rim, they did determine that while damaged it would hold air and installed the replacement tire for me so that I could drive the car back to my home in Bend, OR that same day. The responsiveness to my predicament by these people was nothing short of amazing, and they had me on my way in a matter of a few hours. They even loaned me a car to run an errand and get lunch while my car was being repaired! This sort of customer service is almost unheard of, and in particular for someone who was not a former customer and they of course had never met before. I can't recommend this business more highly after my experience with them - just wonderful people.”
“Expensive repair but I got a second opinion from dealership and they quoted me nearly the same repair cost. Appreciate they used OEM parts for this job so we didn’t have to do it all again because they used cheaper parts. They were quick to get me in and do the repair. I will go back and definitely would recommend. Nice crew too.”

“I've had my share of car trouble and looking for good mechanics in Portland, so I wanted to share a positive experience I had a couple of days ago.
I had an issue with my car and I knew shouldn't drive it, but I couldn’t figure out the exact problem. Since I didn't want to spend the money on a tow just to get a diagnosis, I decided to call up a mobile mechanic. After googling mobile mechanics in Portland for about a half hour, I just chose one that I thought might be good. Turns out it was a GREAT choice.
Courtney from MobilePDX came out quickly and helped me figure it out. His flat rate was affordable, and he stayed for a couple of hours diagnosing the issue. Courtney is easygoing and is super knowledgeable. Later that evening, he even gave me a call to walk me through a few ideas/solutions for what could be going on. Then, he went the extra mile and called my main mechanic to explain what he thought the issue was. Turns out, when I finally got my car to the shop, Courtney was spot on with his diagnosis.
If you’re looking for a reliable and honest mechanic, I can’t recommend Courtney and MobilePDX enough. Seriously, if you need someone great and easy to work with, give him a call.”

“Same Day Auto has been great to me and my 2010 Prius. I initially landed there because Toyota told me that I had about $1000 of things I needed taken care of. I asked around and somebody suggested Same Day Auto. They looked over my car and found it really the only thing that needed to be done on the list that Toyota gave me, was the transmission fluid. And they were right it was very dark and black.
They are fairly priced. I always check online to see what the average price of repairs are when something needs to be done (which isn’t often bc, ya know, it’s a Prius), and they are in that range. It’s great to have a place I can go that I trust. And even though I’m not much of a soda drinker, I love that little stocked fridge they have in the waiting area. :)”
