“We stopped by a few days ago, they have a huge selection of koi, all different sizes, colors, patterns and prices ranges. The staff were beyond helpful as well as extremely knowledgeable. Also have an amazing selection of pond plants. One thing that stood out to me is that if you have any questions or concerns with your pond or fish to please reach out. They are happy to help while visiting them as well as with any questions at home. Definitely recommend and will be back again.”
“Hands down —> FIVE Stars, I Highly Recommend Village Pet Shoppe!
I can’t say enough good things about Village Pet Shoppe! Every time I walk through the door, the staff is always smiling, super kind, and incredibly helpful. They genuinely seem to love what they do and make you feel welcome right away.
I visit once a week to pick up crickets for my daughter’s Leopard Gecko, and their prices beat every other local pet store chain by a mile—great value without skimping on quality. Best of all, they have everything I need for all my pet supply needs under one roof, from feeder insects to other essentials for my two dogs, three cats and two kittens.
The store is spotlessly clean and has such a happy, positive vibe that makes shopping there a real pleasure.
If you’re in the area and looking for a friendly, reliable pet shop with awesome service and competitive prices, this is the place. My go-to spot every week—thank you, Village Pet Shoppe team! 🦎🐾”
“We really love it here…. not your average pet store!
For 15 years, they have been our favorite pet people. We have purchased 5 babies from Jocelyn’s…2 of their English Bulldogs, Pomeranian and 2 Ragdoll cats, and each one has been a perfect family member. The store is clean, so friendly and stocked with a ton of great supplies. The care they take with pets and people is amazing, they stay in touch, check in and have helped our family with questions and care. The owners and staff are good people and I can personally say that their animals are from great homes and breeding programs! Go visit!!!”
“Got exactly what I came for. Nuts, bolts, and a pipe fitting. Could not find the fitting at first, but when I asked an associate to help, she walked me to every plumbing and hose area till I found it.”
“Very nice and helpful employee's!! I have a pit bull that I brought in to the store with me and everyone that worked. There was in love instead of intimidated!! They also were very knowledgeable and helpful for the cat food I was specifically looking for and certain thermometer I was looking for, for my turtle enclosures.”
“Our dog decided that he wanted some spring time perfume and rolled in bunny poo. He's a large dog so we generally don't bathe him at home. We got to the pet place at 6:40 and they closed at 7. The ladies both graciously allowed us to wash him right before closing. We were done in around under 10 minutes. We appreciated them allowing us to do this! Thank you both so much.”
“I shop Petco Hanover Pennsylvania , the boy at the register was very helpful and very nice. He exceeded in helping me out .,was even caring a conversation about his own dog . We were talking about birds . I wish I knew his name . But he did a wonderful job.”
“told the guy what I was doing and he had everything to get it done and even gave me some helpful tips. Highly recommend this great place, and their prices are really good too.”
“Heather booked both my girls to come at the same time which was so appreciated. She took special care of my girl who has allergies. Loved everything and will be returning to Heather.”
“I have been taking my dog there for over a year. Lindsay is super friendly and accommodating to my schedule. Prices are fair and competitive. My dog always leave there looking great.”
“We would go in from time to time to just look. We wanted a golden retriever (female). We left with a male cavapoo. He is the sweetest, smartest dog we could have ever asked for. We’ve had him for two weeks and he’s already learning our routines. I read some reviews about the dogs being from puppy mills. While I don’t condone them, it’s nearly impossible to get away from. As long as we have a happy healthy puppy we can share the time with, we are happy.
Thank you for bringing our new family member Into our lives. We cherish every moment with hi
FYI- his brother is still there as of today. Based on how his brother is, you will not be disappointed if you buy him. He is a handsome and well mannered boy. It was hard for us to leave without him today. Someone give him a loving home
Also- thank you for doing the best to keep the dogs safe. Requesting to sanitize between dogs, rotating the puppies to get play time and cleaning that area asap!”
