“My husband and I were married this past weekend at the Ironspire Complex and it was the most perfect place for us to host our wedding reception. We wanted to have an outdoor ceremony in the woods near our home, and with IronSpire being only a 12 minute drive it was an excellent choice for the reception, with a beautiful backup covered outdoor ceremony site in case of inclement weather. We are both wedding photographers and had a very specific vision about what we wanted. When it was time for us to find a venue it was really tough looking in the greater Reading area. Everything was either logistically challenging (a la GoggleWorks) or didn't fit our vibe at all, feeling dated, and a bit cheesy. My husband actually shot one of IronSpire's first weddings in August of last year. As the day went on he sent me pictures of the space and I immediately set up a meeting with Angela for us to tour it. We booked immediately.Ironspire is modern, clean, and logistically perfect. With easy, dedicated parking, many different spaces available for use, and a clean, industrial look, it can be decorated to fit many different styles.Angela and Brittany were wonderful to work with, flexible and responsive. When we added uplighting to the space it looked so high end and beautiful. Definitely recommend that for both the guest experience and how much it impacts the photos! We couldn't be happier with our choice to host our wedding at Ironspire!”

“My husband and I were looking to get away for the weekend and he found this beautiful place online. The amazing reviews were accurate! From the time you book the room and you get a text from the owner Cesar asking if there are any dietary restrictions so they can serve you an amazing breakfast, to the time you arrive and greeted with such warm hospitality, this beautiful bed and breakfast will not disappoint! We were given the history/tour of this beautiful home built in the 1800s. If you love old, historical Victorian homes, this is a must see.Joe made us feel so welcomed and Maria and Marta made the most delicious breakfast. My husband and I shot a few games of pool and they have multiple pianos they allow you to play. The owner Cesar greeted us when we got back from dinner and we got to meet his dogs. We learned how much Caesar does for the community including running a soup kitchen and a community pantry to provide food, clothing to people who need it. We can’t wait to go back to visit and to volunteer near the holidays. My husband and I highly recommended visiting this gorgeous place!”

“My wife and I participated in the class and date event Saturday. As usual, the class ( fused glass) was a great time. The instructors are awesome. We then enjoyed a buffet with live music afterward to end the day on a great note. They attend to all the little details to insure you enjoy yourself!”

“We had a bridal shower at the Eicher Arts Center and it was wonderful. Anna was great to work with. She was super quick to reply and answered all of our questions. The facility is beautiful and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this venue.”

“The food was excellent. The beer menu was only available if you had a smart phone, but ours couldn't connect. It was busy, and my observations were that bumping up total employees number would help. The parking lot was full so we parked on the street. No biggie. The place looks fantastic. But service was slow and our 10$ off coupon was not accepted because we had to go online and buy a coupon for $20, to get a $10 discount. All good, but that's not making the customer happy. We asked for two checks, because we consisted of two couples, but only got one. Our waitress was nice, but succumbed to simply bad infrastructure, a busy night, and indifferent management and did not fully understand what we needed The outside bar was beautiful. Music was loud, but I have no problem with that. Overall the food and atmosphere were fantastic, and I would return when it wasn't so busy.”

“Step into a culinary wonderland at Shady Maple, where every bite is an adventure into flavor paradise. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality fit for a newborn hamster. The buffet spreads dazzle like a treasure trove, offering a feast fit for a famished gargoyle. I indulged like a ravenous baby goat, savoring each morsel with delight. Every corner echoes with laughter and joy, as the staff showered my family and me with kindness. It's a dining experience that transcends mere meals, leaving you spellbound by its charm and culinary enchantment. Oh my heavens, spend your lottery winnings here.”

“The trees here were good and the prices the best around. Small trees were $40-$60. The guys working there were friendly and serviced us well. They wrapped it up and helped tie it onto the car. They did it it well enough that it didn’t fall off on the drive home lol. I’d recommend for anyone looking for an affordable tree. The other 3 places we visited were averaging 90-125 a tree!!”

“My son and I came here for a mommy son date a couple of months back. They have a huge parking lot. The staff was very friendly including the manager Chris. The kids working the food area were also super nice and helpful. The place was kept clean and in order. You are able to order food and they deliver it to you. Prices weren't the worst for food and the portions weren't tiny. You are able to reserve a lane online. However, this is where I find this to be a bit insane with pricing. It was $10 each for shoe rental, we each had a $20 food card tacked on because it was "busy time" and there was no choice to opt out of it. For two people to bowl two hours was $153. Honestly, that's ridiculous. No one should be forced to have a $20 food card tacked on per person. I'm not saying my family and I won't be back but I can guarantee we can find other family activities for less.”
