“I’ve been coming here with my man for over two years. We come for a little get away at least 5 -6 times a year and let me tell you from the time we pull up it feels like our home away from home. We’re always greeted with so much love. The service here is incredible. Nothing is ever too much to ask for. The rooms are immaculate, beds are comfy and clean , bathrooms always stocked with towels. They have a great breakfast and some nights they do dinner and drinks. Lakeema ( the manager) is one of the most down to earth chicks ever. I can’t speak highly enough about this place and the staff. I’m so grateful for our little getaway spot here. ❤️”

From the moment I walked through the doors, it was clear this wasn’t just a hotel—it was a carefully curated experience designed to make you forget the outside world exists.

Check-in was seamless and genuinely warm. Not the forced, corporate politeness—but the kind where you can tell the staff actually want you there. Within minutes, I felt less like a guest and more like someone returning to a place that already knew me.

The room? Immaculate. Every detail was intentional. Crisp linens, perfect lighting, spotless surfaces, and that subtle, luxurious scent that makes you immediately exhale and relax. The bed deserves its own review—supportive yet cloud-soft, the kind that makes you question all your life choices that don’t involve staying in it longer.

Quiet. Peaceful. Restful.
Despite being centrally located, the room felt like a private retreat. No random noise. No interruptions. Just calm.

Amenities were top-tier and thoughtfully maintained. Nothing felt outdated or neglected. Everything worked exactly as it should—which, surprisingly, is rare.

And the service—this is where the hotel truly separates itself. Staff were attentive without hovering, helpful without being intrusive, and consistently went above and beyond in ways that felt natural, not scripted. The kind of service that makes you think, “Wow… they actually care.”

By the time I checked out, I wasn’t just satisfied—I was genuinely disappointed to leave.

If you’re looking for a place that understands comfort, hospitality, and attention to detail at an elite level, stop searching. This is it. I will absolutely be back—and I’ll be comparing every hotel to this one from now on (unfairly, but deservedly).

“5 star overall for the hospitality and cleanliness! You’re allowed pets here for the cheapest fee I’ve found. They work with you, and when you build a relationship with them they truly treat you like family. They are so big on cleanliness, I’ve stayed here time and time again and I’ve NEVER had a problem with the rooms being unkept. They always smell so good when u walk in, linen is fresh and clean, the floors are freshly swept and mopped, and the bathrooms are always up to par. They have a vending machine downstairs that always is stocked with refreshments and snacks. And the location is amazing! It’s on a nice side of town, tucked away right by the highway and off of Lehigh street that’s full of stores for shopping, groceries, etc. we stay here every time we’re in town because of how sweet and accommodating they were when we stayed here while living in Allentown! They are always are go to ❤️”

“Location absolutely can't be beat if you're in town for a show at the Archer. The entrances of the hotel and the venue are a few yards apart. Valet parking is easy and quick. Both valet and desk staff are friendly and helpful.

My one complaint is the same for the other Moxy hotels I've stayed in: the beds are nightmarishly hard. There is really not much difference between sleeping on the beds and sleeping on a rug on the floor. It's tolerable if you're just in town for one night for a concert, but still an unpleasant night of sleep. Also bring earbuds, because you can hear absolutely everything going on in every adjacent room. *Everything.*

Also, a navigational heads up: Not sure when Google is going to fix it, but right now Maps goes absolutely haywire trying to travel south away from the hotel. Just head out the way you came in and it'll sort itself out after a couple blocks.”

“My wife, my three (3) girls and myself stayed here the WE of Feb. 7th for a WE ski getaway to Bear Creek Mountain resort. The mountain was about 15 minutes from the hotel and an easy drive, even considering the recent weather events in the area.

The hotel was nice overall and what we expected. The free breakfast went above our expectations with a waffle maker, sausage and eggs. I expected a standard continental breakfast with bagels and cereal.

I don't typically write reviews. The reason I am writing this is that we left two (2) sets of keys, my script glasses, checkbook, and some other important items. As a rule I put these types of things in the hotel nightstand. I totally forgot to clear out the nightstand's single drawer until I went looking for my spare keys upon retuning home (3 hours away near Annapolis, MD).

Upon learning I forgot the described items, I called the hotel front desk and got the evening shift manager, Ben. Ben took it upon himself to personally go into our rooms (booked adjoining rooms through VRBO). Ben found the items and stored them. It wound up that at the time of this writing (Feb. 14 - V-day), we would be back up in the general area for one of my daughter's athletic events.

Ben coordinated me picking up the forgotten items and handed them to me within seconds of arriving to the hotel (about 30 minutes ago now).

The staff at the Allentown Hotel, and specifically Ben, understands the importance of great customer service and care in the hotel industry. For the experience I just described alone, I would recommend this hotel.

“The food was of the hook! The atmosphere is excellent! Music & sports! Excellent service by the bartenders and overall staff. Nice place to hang-out, drink & eat!”

“I stopped in Friday looking for a room to move into long--term. I met with Taylor in the office. She was very nice and told me everything I needed to know about this place. I was fortunate to get the LAST available room. When she showed me my room, there was someone working in it to prepare it for occupancy. My room is large and it has a full-size bed and my own bathroom. I was able to move in later that day. My windows face east, and the next morning I was able to see a beautiful sunrise. I believe I will be very happy living here ?Nearby activities: The Allentown Public Library is only a few blocks away. There is a 7-Eleven across the street from the library. Also, there is a really good pizza place only a couple of blocks away.Walkability: Walkability is definitely doable; however, Lanta bus service is convenient and preferable if you are going a distance ?”

The manager and staff were amazing and helpful. We checked in very late at night and they were accommodating . DOGS are welcome and that’s a biggie for us as we travelled with our fur baby all the time.
Facility is clean with no carpeting in the hallways and in the bedrooms which is important as they allow dogs.
Definitely would stay here again.

“Basic hotel with a limited free hot breakfast in the morning. All rooms have their own private entrance with a key card from the outside. Friendly staff. Many more rooms on the property then I would have realized from the highway. Highway noise was not noticeable in the room. Pets welcomed. The TV and fridge worked.”
