“You see the face of this dog? That's the face of a dog who has destroyed every indestructible toy she has had her teeth on. It says destroy proof for heavy chewers? She finds the one weakness in 2 minutes and it's torn apart.
I go to this store and they recomend me toys that are meant to be destroyed. They have multiple layers to rip off and a little surprise in the center.
It has been a month and a half, and she has only just now starting ripping out the inner layers through one teeny tiny hole she has been working on.
Hands down the best toy I ever bought as it's lasted her a thousand times longer than anything else. She goes crazy on it every day!
Love the workers that recommended it to me. Many toy options to find.
Also a nice wide selection of dried foods and fish for cats. Extra protein for my picky eater!”

“Pretty Birds is the ONLY place I will EVER go for bird grooming. I have 2 parrots, an African Grey and a Yellow Naped Amazon. "My birds bite," I said. And in response, Don handled them like they were old friends! No biting, he even shaved their beaks and they didn't even cry! Don has love and compassion for birds and their humans. Our go to plants: 3 types of tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, cucumber, sweet pepper, and butternut squash. Jonathan is quite knowledgeable and helpful. Now, we just need to get them in the ground and hope we are done with frosts.”
“My 8# Yorkie had been injured by a groomer at the Dog Stop on Washington Blvd. I waited 3 months b4 taking her anywhere for grooming b/c I wanted to allow Lilybear to decompress from her trauma. A friend recommended Janice and despite the fact that LilyBear immediately attempted to bite Janice, Janice persevered & was able to complete a mini groom. I’m so grateful - hopefully, next time Lilybear will be a little more calm. I’ll definitely return!”

“I absolutely love the Dog Stop at Wexford. It’s the only place I trust with my German Shepherd. She loves it there. When I have to go out of town and leave her, she gets to meet new dogs and play. They take such good care of her. I get to see her anytime I want through the camera. Also I get her groomed there. She used to go to Kim who was such an angle with her. Kim is taking some time off right now. So she is with Rachel who we absolutely love. She is so patient with her takes such good care of my baby. Always looking great after her bath, hair cut, and nail trim. The entire staff is just amazing. I tried different places and I absolutely hated it. Would never go anywhere else. I would definitely recommend The Dog Stop at the Wexford location to all my Family and friends.”
“I may be biased as I am married to Ryan, and we have known Brad for many many years, but I love this little store! Even if I didn't know them, I'm sure by the end of a first visit I would. They are both knowledgeable in many different animal care aspects. They have high quality foods, toys, litter (I want to cry when they are out of my favorite one!), treats, and more. Make sure to stop in and say hi! You may even get to see one of the visiting foster cats up for adoption!”

“Leone Animal Supply Centers is a local chain store that sells products for dogs, cats, fish, birds, and other small pets. Examples of products are foods, water bowls, collars, leashes, shampoos, diapers, litter boxes, beds, crates, and toys. Many of the brands are not found at competing stores.I shopped here one time. As soon as I entered the store, an employee kindly greeted me. I picked out a few products for my cats. The employee promptly and correctly rang up my purchase and thanked me. Based on my cats’ health and preferences, I cannot doing all of their shopping here, but I enjoyed browsing the selection of products.”

When I shopped in this store, I saw some name brands that are not available in many other retail stores. The prices were moderate. I purchased several foods and treats for my cats. “This is by far the best best best pet supply place in Pittsburgh. Everyone is knowledgeable and pleasant. They are a no kill refuge for dogs, cats and rabbits. The fish and fish supplies manager is unequaled in Pittsburgh - he wants your fish to thrive. They only stock top quality pet foods - no sugar or fillers. (Yes, it costs more than the addictive pet crack at the supermarket.) It's out of the way but so worth it.”
