“Great wedding venue. Ample space. Cool environment. There needs to be an AC unit added to this place if I’m going to be quite honest with you. You also need to take into consideration have to do with the county and that’s a real pain in the behind because I don’t really care about their job. If you want to use a food truck you have to add an extra fee to the whole ordeal and if you want to use the electricity I think you’re not allowed. It was quite a nice venue for a wedding and I would recommend having some type of occasion there. I really do enjoy the atmosphere near the lake I think it would too.”

“It was used for a wedding reception in the winter months. Wedding decorations were added by the family, including lights, flowers, candles, wine bottles at each table, which made a great atmosphere. (The venue without the extras family provided is just a building.) Very roomy though. Two floors. However, two small sets of steps take you downstairs to the first floor restrooms, and to the food/kitchen area, which might be difficult for some (if you are using both floors for your celebration).”

“I photographed Jen & Josh's wedding here and it was a fantastic experience. The location is second to none in Pittsburgh with its amazing views of the city, and the food and service are outstanding. It is a great location for photos as well. I highly recommend it!”

“We had a good breakfast here. My favorite is the Indonesian rice they served and pandang eggs. Ms. Meisha made sure to receive feedback from us to improve the hotel and food services. Looks like they will have promising growth.”

“Every time I go here it is such a treat. The cabbage pastrami is out of this world. The broccoli chicharrones and hummus fritters - also unmatched. The service is so down to earth and friendly. They have AMAZING non-alc cocktails. I truly try to go here as much as possible!”

“Found Songbird Artistry online and purchased these candles for a corporate gift. We received them very quickly and they are all perfect! Highly recommend ordering online if you aren't local! Thanks Songbird Artistry!!”

“Nice theater. You can purchase drinks and snacks at the theater. The I Loathe Lucy performance we saw was fun! This was our first time at this theater. I would purchase different seats next time because the platform seating can block your view if sitting to the left or right of the platform.”

“Went on the tour. I recommend all Steelers fans take this tour. The price for tickets was great for the experience. You get to see the locker room and you get to be down on the sideline.”

“Was looking for a new place to take the fam for my dad's birthday and stumbled across this place after a little research. It's a little outside of downtown Pittsburgh which is what we wanted because navigating and parking was easy ?As soon as I walked in I loved the atmosphere. Super cool place and hadn't seen anything like it before. It gave a super cool vibe. I also put in a reservation for 11 and we ended up in a private room - didn't ask for it - but more than appreciated that we were kind of closed off in our own space ?Our server was really friendly and on top of everything...giving us details on specials, super on point with service in general, and overall gave an awesome experience. I wish I remembered his name to give a shout-out because I like to give credit where credit is due ?I ordered a full meal here - I will say the clam chowder was ok...not bad but nothing spectacular but I'm still giving 5 stars for everything else I stated above and the rest of the food I ordered. I also got shrimp wontons, which I wish I took a picture cause they were unique and texture was on point and flavor, especially the sauce was great. My main course was there cottage pie, their spin off shepherds pie but with a super flavorful gravy and shaved ribeye with mashed potatoes on top. Everyone at the table wanted it as soon as it arrived and it was awesome! I got a slice of chocolate cake to go which was also really good too ?I'd definitely come back for the atmosphere and to try more of their menu options because I don't think I'd be disappointed - Thank you for a great evening especially on my dad's birthday ?”

“Wonderful viewing experience. With comfortable seating, a good film selection, and a nice selection of snacks and beverages. A glass of wine goes well with the shows.”

“This was our second experience at the Johnston House and it was again, incredible! We had a different room for each event and they were equally as beautiful.Nikki and the staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish. The professional manner in which every person that we dealt with should be commended. The elegance of the food and atmosphere are amazing.Thank you for creating such a beautiful memory for both of our daughters. Truly a "Tea Party" dream.Looking forward to our next event!!Sincerely,Diane Budziszewski”

“We come for the Home and Garden show every year and always have a good time. The layout is simple and the concessions are decent. Parking for large events gets filled quickly but there are plenty of other lots nearby. Occasionally traffic gets congested underneath and can cause delays, but the street underneath is an easy drop off/pickup point”

“Great little venue. So pretty inside! We were here to see an artist we know and like perform. Apparently they have shows here frequently throughout the year. There’s tables set up and you can bring your own food and drinks. They were also selling snacks like chips and pop. We had a great evening listening to music!”

“I been to a total of 5 simulator places now and this one is by far my favorite. I never got the ladies name but she was amazing. Super friendly. Knows the machines that they use. And priced fairly well compared to other places i have been. This will be the place i continue to use.”

“As a wedding photographer, I see a lot of wedding venues. Edgewood Country Club really has a stunning location. The golf course views are the perfect backdrop for couples photos and the ballroom has great lighting and high ceilings. Getting ready areas are also very spacious. The staff is friendly and communicates well with vendors.”

“Our church group attended an event here. Everyone had their very own section of the table, and everyone had the tools to create what they pre-selected to make. The instruction was very well-done, and the creativity was left up to each one of us. The people teaching us there gave good tips for creating beautiful projects. I’m sure that the projects we created will be treasured for years to come. We even were allowed to have pizza delivered to the venue to enjoy. This was a really nice time. I enjoyed it.”

“Used Sausalido for our wedding caterer and the food was excellent. Had an amazing experience with Nick from the very beginning, from our tasting to food selection to the wedding itself. Would highly recommend!!”

“My husband and I had our wedding at the Art Room in fall 2023. We had a wonderful experience. Both Kirsten and Bre were amazing to work with from before we signed our contract through our big day. Our guests raved about the venue and how unique it was. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our day!”

“Amazing. Besides the ADA guard, we will call her judging my journey. Asked her if I needed an Ada band because I use Ada in other places because of my feet issues. She was mean as hell about it. She's super aholeish said how many people, I said my 12 year old daughter. Just reassign her to like front door or something. People don't need her judgment. Reminds me of the lady who was doing Ada at ink who was treating us like shat. Not cool. She is in the photo behind me. I give no fks about posting that photo because noone needs to be talked to like she talked to me.”

“I did not stay here. We stopped in for a drink and dinner on a Saturday night. The spaghetti dinner and appetizers were great! The drinks could have been stronger.”

“Despite the bright panels on the outside, Irma Freeman Center for the Imagination is in many ways a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of place. Even after having been past it on foot several times, I often had fairly little idea what it was. My first impression was that it might be a community center for disabled or destitute youths, and therefore somewhere that serves a valuable cultural function but in which I have no place. I was very incorrect in this assumption, as I found out later. One day, while the doors were open, I walked in. I was treated to a private, minimalistic indie gallery featuring work by local artists. At the time, the exhibit focused principally on abandoned sites in the Pittsburgh area, with photographs giving an eerie portrait of the region's history. It was as though the photographers were archaeologists documenting recent times that have fallen into obscurity and ruin. This is of course not the only exhibit: Irma Freeman's collections, ever changing, deal with a number of different artists and themes. Gift shop at the front door and opening night receptions every First Friday of the month. Strongly recommend!”

“Thanks to the museum for hosting my Navy retirement ceremony on April 7, 2023. To say that Angela Tomlin and her staff helped make the event a success is an understatement! The entire museum’s hospitality was incredible. Any/everything we asked of them was handled almost instantly, and Angela and her team were a TREASURE to work with! Everyone in attendance were astounded by the 3rd floor ballroom, and I’m still beyond humbled for the privilege.”

“My wedding was at The Mayernik and it was a close to perfect as it could possibly be. Our Wedding Coordinator - Debbie - was so patient, helpful and really made sure our day went off without a hitch. I sent her so many emails leading up to the big day and she was always so responsive and accommodating. She's just the absolute best. The venue itself is beautiful, they have wonderful preferred vendors for catering and a list of vendors they often work with in the event you need suggestions. Our wedding and reception were inside with roughly 107 guests. There is plenty of space with a separate bar area and a great space for the ladies of the bridal party to get ready. Cost is incredibly reasonable with lots of optional add-ons (twinkle lights are a must) and flexibility. My guests (and husband and I), loved this space. I'm sad our day is over but so thankful for the beautiful memories from that venue!”

“We had a great time having our wedding reception at the Hampton Event Center.Pros:- Lori is very nice and provides lots of helpful tips and suggestions for making sure the event goes smoothly. As people who hadn't planned a wedding before, having her as a guide made things a lot easier.- The decorations were quite pretty. I especially liked the Christmas decorations for our December wedding.- The synthetic flowers look almost real. Don't fret about looks if you want to save money on flowers.- The tablecloth, runner, and napkin selection is diverse with some good colors.- The table runners are very sparkly and pretty to look at.- The bartender provided for events is really friendly.- Being able to have an all-inclusive package is very helpful, especially for us coming in from out of town. It makes preparations a lot smoother. Not having to hunt around for a cake, flowers, caterer, etc., is very nice.- The layout of the hall is very efficient and organized.- Having card boxes and gift tables ready for use is very helpful.- Being able to order cases of craft beer that you can take home after the wedding is great.- Although many people didn't use it at our wedding, the offers for hotel discounts for guests coming in from out of town are very helpful.- The location of the venue, being in the North Hills, would be very convenient for most weddings.- The gazebo is great for photos.Cons:- The easel they provided for seating charts is unstable/broken. I would consider bringing your own system for your seating chart.- Some of the dinner sides are a bit bland, mainly the mashed potatoes and green beans.- Lori can sometimes be a bit slow to respond to emails, but I think some of that can be attributed to the workload she has.We definitely recommend that you consider Hampton for your wedding reception.”

“Inclusive and cute! But the bouncers at the 21 and over section go over the top. I understand it's a business and you are trying to keep people safe but stop touching people that make honest mistakes and go the wrong way.”

“Love going here for the brown bag series. I’ve enjoyed every show I’ve attended. A great way to ease your way into a full opera or to try to see if you like it. This place is family friendly and great for all ages. Check it out!!”

“Our appetizers were amazing & actually filled us up while waiting for our entrees. Friday nights are a bit busier, so it took a little bit to get greeted, but once our order was put in, the food was out quicker than we expected.I highly recommend the Lala friend rice, especially if you like a little spice to your meal.Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and overfilled our stomachs!!”

“It's always a pleasure to work with the team at the University Club! They are truly wonderful (and create a beautiful cookie table!). On top of that, the venue is perfect for PITT grads who want to celebrate their wedding day in the heart of campus. There are great views of The Cathedral, and it's steps to Heinz Chapel. Every wedding I photograph at the University Club is a treat!”
