βThis is one of my favorite stores in the city. Anytime I have a question about a project, Iβve always found a staff member who can point me in the right direction with good advice on which products to use.β
βThis hardware store hast the best customer service, Iβve ever experienced. Iβve been coming here for the past six years, and each time I need help, someone takes care of my questions, or even print the reference of the item Iβm looking for, in case they donβt have it, so I get the right one.β
βWow! I am amazed by the excellent customer service I received at this store. The staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist me in finding the screws I needed for my car. This is definitely the place you want to go to. They were willing to help, unlike the place I went to the day before. I see why the store is called Do It Best because they did just that and more.β
βVery knowledgeable and organized. The majority of employees seem to know everything about all of their products or know exactly where to find your answers. Youβre going to pay a bit more, but absolutely worth it.β
βThis is one of my favorite stores of all time so on a personal note I'm in a good mood when I walk in here to begin with. Think of Harbor Freight as the "affordable alternative" to that Depot chain some are familiar with. The deals that they have at this store never cease to amaze me and I find that I rarely can walk out of the store without purchasing something that I may or may not even need because I just don't have it. Can you get things here that you can get at other stores? Absolutely. Are you going to be these prices? A snowball's chance in hell is greater than you finding a better deal somewhere else. This, you can take to the BANK, and considering all the savings, you actually WILL!β
βExcellent' I continued to find Harbor Freight store associates very knowledgeable of their products, Always helpful, friendly and with each of my and my families shopping experience' they always provide the very best in customer service. Thank you Harbor Freight for what all of you continue to do at each one of your Store locations.β
βSo, I don't know if you've ever been to a true value... But it is far from what I would call a big box hardware store. That is one of the things I actually like about the place. It feels like a mom and pop hardware store. I don't know if it's a franchise, but it certainly feels like a small business and I like to frequent places like that. I will also say the staff is very helpful and friendly... And they knew where the most obscure items were located without thinkin twice. I was super impressed. This is my new go to for a hardware needsβ
βVery friendly and knowledgeable staff at this location. Michelle is great and has been particular helpful! Excellent selection of products and convenient location.β
βIβve been going here since the mid 90βs and not a single thing has changed. Their customer service is over the top. Most times they jump right on the job and finish while you wait. I highly recommend Delri!β
βI could not be happier then being a Customer of Burhill Hardware ! Chuck and his crew are ......simply fantastic ! Very knowledgeable , warmand friendly ! My only regret in post is It won'tallow me to add 5 more stars ! Now you go check out Burhill Hardware !Sincerely ;Greg Eisenhuth( Captain America. )β
βGreat place. Very friendly staff, someone greeted me right away, & I found what I needed and then some. It sits in the back of the mall which took me a few to figure out. There should be more signage in the front for that.β
βGreat store, super friendly employees. Knowledgeable workers make a very different experience than big name hardware stores. Return policy is very dependable. This store is clean and organized every time I have been there.β
βGreat relic that is also very functional... They are the ONLY supplier in the city that carries Limeworks products for historical pointing. Love coming here. Chestnut Hill is one of my favorite parts of Philadelphia!β
βI was able to get extra keys made and find a screen fir my kitchen window. They do screen repairs and have a lot of items for pest control as well as home improvement.β

βThis place is great. I admit I often go to Home Depot for plumbing parts because it's closer, but when they don't have what I need, or what they do have is junk, I go to Grove Supply. I'm always surprised that the price is about the same. The parts are always better, and you can often get some advice while you're there. Grove even delivers for a very reasonable price. I wish it was closer to Media, PA.β

βDepends on who you get behind the counter, some of the guys are super helpful and know what they're doing. Other guys don't care about their job and it shows.β
βOnce again we had fantastic service from one of the owners of 10th Street Hardware. This time it was Steve DeShong. He spent a goodly amount of time on Saturday trying to figure out how to fix a broken soap dispenser (purchased elsewhere) we had brought in. Even though he couldn't get it to work (and we ended up buying a new one from his store), we were impressed with his determination to help us. We have been loyal customers of this store for years and value the fantastic advice and help we get from Steve and his partner Troy Usnik.β
βHills hardware is more than a hardware store. Leno and Heather create a universal atmosphere. No matter if your a carpenter with 40years experience or a person looking to hang some picture frames in your home. They are quick with the necessary supplies and a helpful tip if you need it; to get the job done proper. You need something not in the store they can get it in on the next shipment. I stop here before anywhere to get my supplies. Feels like home. Most certainly go check them out.β
βWonderful people work in this store! They are amazing! I had a number of keys copied and their skill and the material used were outstanding. A refreshing difference from the keys I had copied at Home Depot.β
βOh this place has anything you need for your home repairs .. decor.. plus more. It has been a staple in my neighborhood for years.. if you're every looking for something hard to find just give Ritner hardware a call.. they rarely disappoint..β
βIf you're looking for a Benjamin Moore paint store in the Philly suburbs, you Must come to this store!!! I traveled from West Chester to Bridgeport to buy paint from these guys.Price: Unbeatable!!! This store was about $15 less than all the other stores in my area. Not only were they cheaper, they gave me a painter's discount and a free t-shirt... I love t-$hirts but I love them even more when they're free.Service: Outstanding!!! The staff here is exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable. They don't try to upsell you nor trick you into buying things you don't need. You can ask a million and one questions and they will answer them all and still leave you with some genius advice you never thought of. When you come here for the first time you'll feel like you've been coming here forever. I never knew buying paint could feel this good!!!These are the businesses I'll make the effort to support and so should you!!! Thank me later ;).β
βTo start- I live in west philly. I drive to this hardware store because they are so sweet and accommodating every time I go. They try to speak to people who only speak Spanish in Spanish. Just all around great hardware store that reminds me of the right small town feel. I order my HVAC filters here, I get my plumbing supplies here. Support small hardware stores!!!!!β
βI do maintenance around the block. This is the Best neighborhood hardware store. Very reasonable prices, great service. I can find here almost anything I need. Saves me a lot of trips to Home Depot.β
βGreat local hardware store, with a good selection of paint colors to choose from. I stopped by just for paint, and the employee who helped me was very nice. I appreciated not being overly talked to, and he was quick with getting my paint all mixed together. It's nice to have a store in the neighborhood that's easy to walk to.β
βIf you want great service, nice employees, the chance to visit a store that has just about any hardware item you may need, this is your place. The owner, Charlie is a solid guy. Will go out of his way to help you find what your looking for.I've purchased my lawn mower, weed whacker, string, had lamps rewired, screens repaired, and many small items purchased at Swarthmore Hardware. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.β
βLove that thereβs a hardware store close by. Has a lot more items than I wouldβve expected. The staff has always been very helpful and knowledgeable whenever Iβve needed assistance. This is my go to spot.β
βThe Hardware's are my forte you never know what they might have what you might need or just to shop and look around I like Hardware better than those big bucks stores stop by check it out and help help out the little guyβ
βI'm glad they still got hardware stores in the community its a lot for me to go to lowe or the home Depot.. you get personal professional attention. Owners are very kind. I always find what I need. I've been going there for the past 10 years.β

βThe place was organized the store was well lit the staff was fast n helpful. They had what i needed and knew how to locate the item swiftly. The prices where ok. The parking seem to be my only problem. I had to park in a bus only zone and run in and out wich with the stores help I was in and out but there's no parking only on the side streets wich are always packed. All in all the experience here was ok no hassles waits or worries.β
βIf you are someone like me, you are constantly doing little diy projects around your house and don't need tons of materials. Sometimes the Lowe's and Home Depot's can get extremely overwhelming and often times hard to find help from an employee. I have recently stopped going to Lowe's in Havertown and solely go to DMI on haverford rd! They have anything I could possibly need for the projects around my house. Lumber, paint, hardware, screws and nails, tools, gardening supplies, rental equipment for those larger projects, you name it! They also do chair and table rentals if you are throwing a party and need some extras! It really does feel like a family when you walk in there. There are numerous employees walking around, constantly asking how they can assist and make your experience at DMI better than it already is. From large to small, DMI has all that you could possibly need at a great price. Give it a try next time, I'm sure you will be back!β
