Neca, Super 7, DC, Marvel, they have it all, and you will be rewarded for digging around in bins and shuffling through their huge aisle of carded vintage figs. Absolutely one of the best comics and collectible shops in Pittsburgh!”

Like most places, they didn't try to insult my intelligence and low ball me on items that are in the class of vintage or collectable. They was absolutely honest. I would recommend them to anybody who is looking to buy or sell collectable memorabilia!.

“This is a wonderful little neighborhood store! The candies are what you'd expect in terms of candy bars and single pieces you can mix and match. They also have a lot of new and different candies to choose from too. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's a small store with a local vibe, and they don't mind getting extra supplies from the back if you need them. I especially like that they have candy-themed games and a variety of large tins of candy that make for unique and fun gifts. It doesn’t take long to get what you need, but it's a fun place to visit. It's definitely the place to go if you have a sweet tooth!”

“I went in there today, just randomly, because there's a book that i'm missing out of this new collection and I was wondering, maybe I might just grab it there because i'm in the area and it's such a cool store... i mean, the book in particular that i'm thinking about, i can get it anywhere, i've got pretty much most of the series from Amazon, which started at a comic book store in ohio, finding the book wasn't that big a deal, i'm pretty close to finishing the collection, it's a small series, and the one book is the one thing that keeps me from being caught up to the new editions... so I just stopped in and madison was at the register, she was super friendly as well as the young man that was beside her, we chatted for a bit and then she took me over to a section of books she thought I might like and I found a couple more along the way, and even an action figure!! Thanks for the great service!!”

“Went for my daughter’s first birthday, and we had Mia. SHE WAS THE BEST!!! She not only made my daughter smile even after falling and getting hurt, but made us adults have a big smile and laugh. She sang Disney songs my daughter knew and made this experience so memorable. I could never have put a price on that core memory. Thank you Mia for your great energy and laughs! You made us so happy”
“The last time I walked into this wonderful toy store was between 2000-2002. The memories are so strong. I was downtown this afternoon for brunch with my partner and had a spontaneous memory Of visiting this place, so we decided to go check it out again.
Walking in, the memories from being here 23 years ago Instantaneously flooded back into my mind. The place has changed very little and it is such a gorgeous building. There is such an EXPANSIVE inventory of toys here- modern and a Few hidden vintage finds- toys you won’t be able to find in any retail space within 100 miles of here. The employee Lauren shared with me that there were approximately 20 to 30,000 different SKUs as of 2002- She has no idea how many excuses there are today in 2026, but we can only estimate there are likely double that amount. Occasionally, you will run across a product that has a SKU number that doesn’t even work in the system anymore. A coloring book that was sold 25 years ago.
This is a Pittsburgh gem, a true staple. I hope to goodness it stays around for as long as humanly possible. The original owner Was still there to greet us in the back of the store and on the second floor I spoke with an employee Lauren, who was so wonderful to me. She shared her experiences working there, She shared the history of the building, and allowed me an opportunity to see certain floors of the building I’ve never seen before. I want to thank Lauren and commend her for her excellent customer service. This is my first time back in the store in 25 years and The one hour experience I had there today is a memory that will last me a lifetime (just the same as the memories I hold visiting here as a child)
The Pittsburgh community needs to do more to support this business. It is a treasure that is worth preserving for another century to come”
“Lovely toy store. We enjoyed chatting with Nan. She was kind and helpful to our son. He was looking for a Thomas the train book. Nan had a beautiful option we had never seen. The merchandise is wonderfully displayed as well as a thoughtfully curated collection of children’s hands on toys. Support small shops-make her your go to for children’s toys. I am speaking from experience of once being a small shop owner.”

“I have been working with Birdbrain products for many years. From the very first time I was introduced to them at a PD session, the company’s staff have been outgoing, friendly, and supportive. I have used the products to teach children and well as adults. Each and every time I use the products with students/adults, I know they are reliable and will last. The Hummingbird and Finch hold their charge, the parts are durable, and I rarely have any issues. If and when something goes awry (which is a rarity), the company’s technical support is as reliable and dependable as their products.”
“My family was at this store today and when we went to check out there were only 2 registers open and the line was wrapped all the way around. The 2 gentlemen running check out were busting their butts. Several calls were made for assistance from another associate who did not show in the time we were waiting. In particular, I would like to compliment our cashier, Delane. He was so pleasant and kind and working very hard. He noticed I had the sniffles and grabbed a box of tissues for me. He let me know how much a few of the items were that were not marked with the Ollie’s price. Nobody likes a long line, but his positive attitude and energy made it worth the wait. Thank you, Delane! YOU made this a very pleasant experience!”

They just said how about if we call in Monroeville or another location and see if they’re available and they did and it was available in Monroeville. “went in for some pokemon cards and was met by Mike, the manager. very relaxed and knowledgeable guy, knows the store inside and out. the gamestops interior is really unique, given that some of the stuff is Mike’s personal belongings. it adds a nice personal touch, doesn’t make it feel as much of a soulless corporate entity like Gamestop usually is”
