“After a terrible experience with a local big box store, it was impressed upon me to visit Gerhards (Glenside). This is where I met Dave.After a bit of due diligence and learning which refrigerator brands not to invest in, I landed upon a GE model. I told Dave what I wanted and he made it happen. It was a quick sale on a Monday afternoon with delivery expected on Wednesday. When minor issues were found upon delivery, parts were sent via Fed Ex to my residence. Fast Repair service was quickly scheduled. Dan came out and made everything pretty again. It’s just what he does! Dave even reached out several times in the process, to ensure that I was being well taken care. Thank you, Dave!!P.S. This fridge is so dang quiet, I keep checking to see if it’s on.”

Johnanthony brings to his work excellent building skills, great intelligence and creativity, perseverance, honesty, kindness, and friendliness—and a fine sense of humor, an important asset in dealing with the frustrations of renovation work.
And there were a lot of frustrations on our jobs. Our house was not well designed, and many shortcuts were taken in its construction. Being a kitchen-and-bath-renovation general contractor is a very difficult profession, as you’re constantly fitting new wiring, plumbing, appliances, and other work—all the fundamental systems that make a house work--into an existing structure, rather than being able to “start fresh”. In our case, the difficulty was increased by the “inherited” problems in our house. And we had problems with delays and incorrect shipments from suppliers, and we caused some problems by changing our minds about some things.
Throughout all of this, Johnanthony worked hard and thoughtfully to solve problems, to figure out new ways of doing things as the structure of the house required initial plans to be modified. When problems came up, he worked with us to solve them. When we had warranty issues—bad finish jobs on a couple of our cabinet doors—he made sure that the vendor replaced them, and installed the new ones at no cost to us. Johnanthony was very consultative with us and made it clear that our happiness with our new rooms was his highest priority.
We felt that Johnanthony’s pricing was fair, and he was very clear about his billing process. We felt that he was completely honest.”

Jim presented a proposal and a plan with great advice , helped me choose fixtures, tile and overall design and helped me stay within my budget. The project was on time and with minimal disruption to my home. Communication was excellent …I always knew what was next, what time they were starting each day , when inspections were happening, etc. My house is 100 years old and gutting the bathroom presented some surprises but didn’t phase JRL Design! Jim even saved and rebuilt the original window and door. Also , because they expanded the bathroom and opened the wall to the next room, that whole room was restored beautifully as well. Overall, I had 100% trust in Jim and his team and knew from the beginning that he was invested in making sure I was very happy with the outcome. My master bath is now the nicest room in the house. “Ordered 3 keyed alike Mul T Lok herculars. They came in about 4 weeks which is expected. Medeco and Mul T loks are both back ordered 4-6 weeks. The locks came brand new. If you are unsure if they are legit or not. Check there GSA # and called Fried bothers. You can confirm Fried brothers are on the mul t lock authorized distrubators list (dont get confused with retailer when checking the website) Locks came in brand new.. no scratches. You cant beat the price of this locks when buying from anywhere else”
