“Awesome spot to host a medium size party - 30-50 people! Full kitchen with two ovens/ranges, bar area, and plenty of space for tables and chairs. Searched all over the area (we were coming from the Manayunk/Roxborough area) and had a hard time finding anything nice where we could bring our own food. Look no further for an affordable Hall rental that looks so sweet! Bring all your own food and drinks, etc. No hidden fees. The hall rental manager, Rick, was so easy to work with and accommodating! The only tough thing is the parking. They can fit maximum 27 cars and you have to block people in. For the price, though, it can’t be beat! Thank you for offering an affordable option for us to host a luncheon for our daughter‘s christening. The kids all loved the creek out back. In nicer weather you could do an indoor/outdoor party for sure.”

I normally do not leave reviews but the instruction, atmosphere, drinks, and most importantly, the instructor George were all fantastic. The fruits class especially was great because you were able to customize your drinks based on what fruits you wanted to include! Definitely recommend and when I am back in the Philly area, I will be going to another class!”

I had a great time dancing to the incredible band, and it was so fun to see others join in too. It can be a little tricky to find the first time. We ended up walking down the sidewalk between the apartments and the post office, then found it on the other side of the postal trucks. For next time, I’ll set my GPS to the Celia Bookshop and walk past the beautiful mural straight to the sticker-covered door. The venue is BYOB and offers water, other beverages, snacks, and popcorn for a fair donation. Such a great vibe all around. A true hidden gem ✨”

“This is a nice small museum that's free to visit and definitely worth stopping by if you're exploring the historic district. Before visiting, I didn't know much about the Carpenters' Company or the important role they played in American history. The exhibits are well organized and do a great job explaining their contributions. I also enjoyed seeing the historic building itself, it is very beautiful and well preserved. Definitely worth stopping by and visiting.”

Our Minister blessed our wedding and our wedding dinner. We had 100 guests. A friend of ours played the flute as a prelude to our wedding and as our wedding party walked up the aisle. We had a four course dinner and 3 dessert options. The band played marvelously.”

Once the day arrived, and we attended as the grandparent guests, we couldn't have been more impressed. Especially me, since I'm highly critical of food and service having spent over 40 years in the culinary industry. I couldn't believe how perfectly executed the food was and all of the guests remarked about the catering. I also loved the menu choices which were fun and contemporary and met everyone's needs. I can't wait to book them for another milestone event.”

I spent about half an hour wandering through the building and really enjoyed the setup and curatorial work. We had several meetings with her where she helped us plan all the details of the night. She provided us with so much help and experience that we really appreciated. Not only was Christina amazing, we also had a dedicated staff for us and the party throughout the night. They made sure we were able to enjoy all that the Drexelbrook had to offer, without missing out on all the fun. We gave them all of our items and decor a week before the wedding, and they were very thorough with making sure all items were received and accounted for. We gave them basic details about how things would be setup, but the exceeded our expectations and made everything look amazing. The experience of the whole team truly showed in all aspects. We have heard so many great things about the food, service, and space. We would recommend the Drexelbrook 10 times over and are very grateful for how special the Drexelbrook made our night.”
