“We attended the Fresh Fruit Cocktail class this past Saturday and it was phenomenal. I normally do not leave reviews but the instruction, atmosphere, drinks, and most importantly, the instructor George were all fantastic. The fruits class especially was great because you were able to customize your drinks based on what fruits you wanted to include! Definitely recommend and when I am back in the Philly area, I will be going to another class!”
“We had a BLAST!! The building is so cute and well decorated. The girls, Nicole and Rosie were so awesome!! They were bubbly and kind. The steps were very easy to follow, and the girls helped the whole way. You. A choose your own scents and there’s SO MANY to choose from. There’s definitely one for everyone! The music fit the vibe so well. Highly recommend!”
“I held my girlfriend’s 30th birthday party at choppers cause we knew we wanted to do a fun activity with family and friends. I spoke with Dom a month in advance to let him know my plans to invite around 40 people and bring food and drinks. He was really helpful and accommodating while answering my million questions. The venue is large and the staff reserved a spot towards the back, away from all the other guests. Having our own dedicated refrigerators For drinks and a birthday cake was a convenience that I didn’t know I needed.The coaches themselves were friendly and knew how to wrangle in the crowd of (partially drunk) people. All in all, I would definitely come back and host any type of event here in the future!”

“I just had my son’s first birthday here, and everything was wonderful from start to finish in the cutest space. I want to just give the staff major kudos- we accidentally spilled a seltzer and while we were cleaning it up off the hard wood floor- the paper towels were COMPLETELY WHITE! I don’t know any other kids spaces that you can go to and have such clean floors! 10/10 would recommend”

“This is a nice small museum that's free to visit and definitely worth stopping by if you're exploring the historic district. Before visiting, I didn't know much about the Carpenters' Company or the important role they played in American history. The exhibits are well organized and do a great job explaining their contributions. I also enjoyed seeing the historic building itself, it is very beautiful and well preserved. Definitely worth stopping by and visiting.”

“My daughter absolutely loves her toddler dance class at Little City Activity Center— it’s one of the highlights of her week. We also celebrated her birthday there earlier this year, and it was a fantastic experience. Everything was smooth and stress free thanks to Ms. Adrianne, who made sure all the kids had fun and the activities ran perfectly. The piñata was a huge hit! We truly appreciate the care and enthusiasm the team brings to every detail. Highly recommend!”

“I went here for a banquet concert. The food offered was great. Typically at these types of places the food isn’t great but this time I was pleasantly surprised. There is a separate area you can stand in before entering the main hall. It was spacious and even had a coat check.”

“CBD handled our granddaughter's bat mitzvah party and I worked with their team from Los Angeles. Having been in the business in my early career, I was familiar with how things would work in fleshing out the the party, menu and all of the details. What I didn't expect was the level of service and attention to every detail. Fred and April were exceptional and responsive to all of my questions and needs. Once the day arrived, and we attended as the grandparent guests, we couldn't have been more impressed. Especially me, since I'm highly critical of food and service having spent over 40 years in the culinary industry. I couldn't believe how perfectly executed the food was and all of the guests remarked about the catering. I also loved the menu choices which were fun and contemporary and met everyone's needs. “A lovely venue with warm and caring staff!
The team here is phenomenal. I honestly felt like I was being cared for by my own family before and the day of our wedding. Jenn is hands down the sweetest, most down to earth and no nonsense planner ever - ensuring our day went smoothly. If there were any snags in the day, I wouldn't know because Jenn had it handled already!
I also feel grateful for her little pep-talk before I walked down the aisle - calmed the nerves easily.
The food is fantastic and plentiful and I'm still hearing praise from the guests about the food. My nephews figured out how to maximize cocktail hour apps, finding a cozy little spot by the kitchen - ready to pounce on the next platter that went out!
Our attendant Karen, was so kind in making sure myself and my husband were well fed. My family and guests felt so cared for by all the catering staff - I wish I had gotten all their names, because they deserve all the recognition!
Kevin and Jenn (& co.) made sure the dinner service went on without any difficulties - and with some well fed guests, everyone was ready to dance and party the night away. Our guests really enjoyed the unique location and feel of the space - made more lovely by all the people in it.
I highly recommend this venue for any soon to be wed couples out there!”

“This arena-sized facility has been beautifully renovated into a world-class indoor sporting venue. There is good stadium-style seating for spectators. There are also some small lounge areas where you can sit back in cushy chairs and take a break with a few friends. The squash courts have excellent visibility for onlookers. Everything is very well-designed, using an open concept for the interior and high-quality materials and lighting. This is an important asset for University City and the 30th Street Station area, and I'm sure it will elevate the sport of squash nationally.”

“I highly recommend taking the grim nighttime tour. Not only is it very fun and silly, and adult oriented, but you also get a chance to wonder around the city in a group at night. Of course, this adds to the safety factor, but in no time did we feel we were not safe. It’s a great place to go not just for history, but even before romantic stroll in the evening”
