“Had my car towed here after the wife hit a six-point buck on 611 while driving a two week old Audi that still had a temporarily license plate on it.
Within two hours the shop had the car inside the garage, and began taking it apart so they can accurately provide a quote almost to the dollar. It was 100% accurate.
From there, I was told the repair would take three weeks. Mostly due to the time table it takes to obtain the parts from Audi. The original three week time frame was as accurate as their quote. Spot on.
Now the important part. How was the repair. I am extremely meticulous with my vehicles, so for me this is the real test. Especially when the car has less than 1,500 miles on it. Long story short, the car was truly restored to its original condition.
All door and panel seems were perfectly lined up. All paint was as good as factory, with no air bubbles, dirt, or ripples in the paint.
Only downside is they are not cheap, but in their defense, the car was an Audi, so I am sure the parts were five times the price when compared to other cars.
I would highly recommend Bangor Body Works. You get what you pay for here.”

“We are a family of four from Toronto, Canada — two adults and two kids. On August 31, while driving back from New York to Toronto, our Chrysler Pacifica 2017‘s engine suddenly developed a serious misfire on the highway. We had no idea what was wrong and were honestly quite stressed because we were still several hours from home.
We arrived at the shop almost at closing time, but the owner immediately came out to check the vehicle without hesitation. He quickly diagnosed the problem and, more importantly, went far beyond simply repairing the car.
The owner worked incredibly hard to arrange a rental car for us. He managed to get everything sorted out just 15 minutes before the rental company closed, and he even communicated with the rental company to arrange a pickup from the repair shop. He also helped us arrange for the rental car to be returned directly to the repair shop the next day, which saved us a huge amount of trouble.
We were travelling with two kids and a car full of luggage. Without their help arranging the rental car and transportation, we honestly might have ended up sleeping on the street that night in a small town in Pennsylvania. The owner really saved us that day.
The repair itself was done quickly and professionally. Our vehicle was ready by around noon the next day, which meant we didn’t have to drive too late into the night to get back to Toronto. The price was also very reasonable.
We drove the repaired vehicle all the way back to Toronto the next day, and it ran perfectly the entire way. We are still driving it now and it has been running very smoothly.
I cannot thank the owner and his team enough for their kindness, professionalism, technical skill, and willingness to help when we were in a difficult situation.

“Our van broke down on I-80 near the Del Water Gap on a cold Friday night in December, with our family of 5 headed toward NYC from Ohio for Christmas. Called CHC and their tow driver, Jesse, was there within 5-10 minutes, and had us hooked up and towed very quickly. Because we couldn’t all fit in the cab, the owner herself came in her personal vehicle to pick us up and bring us back to the shop. The owners stayed late while Jesse worked to get the car fixed and get us back on our way, literally saving our Christmas vacation! And they made us comfortable with snacks, coffee and hot chocolate for the teenagers while we waited (and even some special honey cough drops for one of them). Now that’s full service, and with a smile! Thank you CHC! Highly highly recommend (though I hope we won’t be back soon :))”
“Everyone was so great, I used them after a car accident! I had to get a new front bumper, headlight fixture, fender, and they had to paint my door due to chipping (the paint match was perfect and I have peral white with sparkle flakes which isn’t the easiest to find) They had for about 11 days total, was able to fix everything while calling me to give me updates which I appreciated so much and even got it done a day earlier than estimated! I always go here for any repairs I need, it’s really nice to have a good local shop that I trust and doesn’t give you the run around.”

“I have used Mountain Body Shop on three or four occasions over the years, the most memorable was when my grandson hit a deer! The whole front bumper was hanging by one piece of metal! “We recently moved to the area and have done well with deer dodging until last weekend. Wrecked the grill and a few mechanical components on our F250 on a Saturday morning, by Monday it had been taken to Rocco's. By Wednesday, we and our insurance company had the quote for repairs, and by Friday midday the vehicle was ready to be picked up. Wonderful turn around time, and a blessing to have it done before the holidays. The crew were friendly and communicative. My only suggestion would be, to be open for half days on weekends to process minor driveable repairs, while having the ability to accept tow-in bigger jobs that will take the week to complete.”
