“I want to give a shout out to pen argyl pa dollar general for one of the best employees of any store I met today that worked there, his name was Jorge and was wonderful. Not only did he rush over to open the door for me, he was pleasant and personable. He offered the girl in front of me to carry her stuff to her car it was bulky and heavy. The girl said it was ok she could carry it out and he actually told me he felt bad that he couldn’t help her because of how bad the weather was. I was short on my money and I was asking him to take off something. He refused and took it out if his pay. He said merry Christmas and paid it. He is a young guy with a Heart of gold that deserves recognition and made what has been a very depressing month due to my son being in a coma after a seizure and going into cardiac arrest. Jorge made me smile. What a wonderful kid with a great positive energy.”
“I stopped by for a few convenient items and bought some glassware. The cashier was kind enough to meticulously wrap the glassware in newspaper. I didn't feel rushed out of the store. To prevent bottlenecking at the register, she called for help. The employees work well together and I appreciate seeing that. Keep up the good work ?”
“This place is the best Dollar General around! The manager, Melissa, is awsom and so very nice and helpful. She keeps the place clean and stocked. She deserves a raise! Any problem that I may have, she takes care of it quickly. NEVER get rid of her! She is a very valuable employee. Any other Dollar General that I have been to in the past, like in East Stroudsburg, the employees are nasty and the place is dirty! Melissa is a great manager and I will NOT go to any other Dollar General! Melissa is the best!”
“I moved back to the area last year and the Saylorsburg dollar general was new and improved. Today I went into the store and myself having a rough day had to use a few different debit cards to pay for my purchase. “I wanted to reach out at the corporate level and let you know what a pleasant experience I had with your freight manager, Emily at store number1393 in bartonsville, PA. While the front-line workers were friendly and eager to help, I was pleasantly surprised with seeing the isles so organized and eye catching arrangements. This is one of the best looking DT stores by far that I've visited.
